  4. What I meant to say, I'm in it so I can use the prussic loop as a giant gear loop and climb with my harness looking like a shop! Should be a nice Christmas present!
  5. I'm happy reading tons of emails of shiny stuff. That prize list is impressive. I'm in it for the prussic loop!
  6. Getitoff getitoff!
  7. They will go where other bigger chippers can't! Literally! (in pieces!)
  8. Hmm. I'd love some of the carbons. But don't know whether I can justify it! Maybe after I've had a bit of work on!
  9. I too am thinking of flea baying my spikes and getting a pair of geckos, tried the carbon ones and found them comfy, are the Ali ones just as comfy?
  10. Took a couple today. There's a couple of lumps of wood under where the battery is. Makes it more sturdy when it's strapped down otherwise you just squash the tyres.
  11. I know the feeling, caught my finger on my sig I'd first outing, never had a single issue with the zubat, but the sugoi is attracted to flesh! Heal quick! Glad it wasn't serious!
  12. I ask if there's anything, customer usually have an idea if there is but you never know, next job ive got coming up they have had a dig themselves already! Makes for easy peasy grinding for that one! I've been doing a lot of grinding recently, seems to be quite popular!
  13. Will it be a bit further north? I may come to that too! Any reason to celebrate and drink gentlemans pop
  14. You can have a happy meal but I'm taking the toy! I need a bonnet mascot!
  15. Find 10 local lads and pay them all £50 each and say come and give me a hand dragging this lot out! Will be done even quicker.
  16. I was told by my local TO that they last 3 years. I think it's a little out of date, considering the town and country planning act came in 1990 and wildlife and countryside was 89!
  17. Ok Deli is too far away!
  18. I've got some huge conifers to bring down that will violate little Gloria, I'm after a few pairs of hands to help me on the day. Two groundies required, I'll be climbing them, feel free to bring climbing gear if you want, another climber will help but is not essential. Wages can be discussed. If you have a saw, bring one, only needs to be a little one, I'll have all we need. Pm me or 07516 348 002 at Reasonable hours only please!
  19. Stick lunge!
  20. if its any help lorry, my dads got the parrot that lets you plug into an ipod/iphone and also through an auxillary cable, thats in his landy, and it works fine, had it on both my ipod and iphone working well and the little remote that comes with it to stick anywhere will control both, pretty handy, well, hands free!
  21. Done seeing as you did click on mine!
  22. fair enough, hindsight is a wonderful thing, had to do 7 stumps and dug as deep as i was grinding on each one, added a while onto that one! looks like what ive got lined up will be a lot easier than i thought. Nice one
  23. two short but sweet videos of silkys on the strop, both dropped from same height, sugoi and zubat, the sugoi, being heavier, bounces a lot more. hence why i took a second thought about where to stand! 24. Something ive wondered while ive been grinding stumps, is it beneficial to dig away the stump first or do you just go right in and grind the soil too? i know the cutters are carbide so should stand up to a little bit of soil, but mainly to clear away stones or anything not too good for the teeth. Dig or not dig?
  25. Correct, it was Kretz and only kretz on this one Customer didnt seem to accept that this little black crust can do some damage, until he saw the stump and he was surprised!
