  1. It's interesting what it says about the c3 type on the net. It seems they are good for heat and speed but not suited for their intended use? "What are C3 bearings? C3 bearings are bearings that have an additional internal radial clearance to cope with high speed environments where excess heat is generated. They are not suited to environments where critical alignment is required from the onset e.g. Where blades and cutters are set up to each other."
  2. Nice one Kev, just had a google of the numbers and it looks about right. I will double check with the timber wolf help line first before I order. Cheers chaps
  3. The bearing shop is near my house in sheffield but I'll be stripping it down in lincs at a friends so won't be able to measure. Thanks for the reply though.
  4. Hiya, does anyone have the number of the bearing for a tw150 please? When I did mine ages ago and I had the boxes I googled the numbers and found them at the normal bearing shops, which I have one of just down the road.
  5. That's awesome dude, congratulations 😀 He looks very smart in his new bed, you've done a cracking job there 👍
  6. When I did my bearing I couldn't work out how to take the taper lock off so I rang the timberwolf technical line, they said nothing about having to get a new one when refitting?!
  7. I know it's bad to put stickers on certain things like helmets but was wondering about fibreglass bigshot poles, would they effect them? I've just put a sticker on mine but then I got thinking about the lad that got put in a coma by a bigshot malfunction!
  8. This is the pic. Be worth checking the feel of your rope just incase!
  9. Strange isn't it, everyone seemed to rave about CB and the HH being awesome! You have cleaned your HH haven't you? I was having loads of trouble with mine but after I gave it a good clean it's been fine. It's not happening at a certain point on your rope is it? I saw a post on a splicing page on FB where a chap was doing an eye in his CB and found that the core was in two separate parts, a couple of meters pulled straight out!
  10. I've got a metre of the 10mm Volcano now Al and it seems to work fantastically on kern!
  11. As far as I know they've never opened on a Saturday Alex.

    My accident

It's nice to read your progress Sean. Science is starting to realise certain things they thought, are not actually true. I've just had a google about neuroplasticity and spinal cord injuries, you never know what the future might bring.
  13. I got mine done at the local cobblers for £39 and he also put on some new loops for that too.
  14. The wood walker are good Jon. When I was getting my airstreams resoled I bought a pair and have been happy with them. A few little differences, the airstreams are definitely slightly better made/stronger, I got the same size but the wood walker feels a little bigger and the Airstreams are loads colder, my feet freeze in them but don't get at all cold in the others.
  15. Nice little vid and tune! Would hate to be chipping that lot 😀

I hope the future is full of nice surprises for you Sean! I also hope the rest of your team and whomever performed the arial rescue are ok too, must have been shocking to witness!
  17. Happy birthday chap, hope you have a fulfilling year ahead 😀
  18. I hear the HH2 is in the making, may even have a pulley!
  19. These look like they're worth trying! The 9.3 might be just right.
