    My accident

Hey no worries dude, I totally didn't think about that side of things!! Keep on being amazing 👍
  5. Never mind D Mc, the HH is still awesome and I'm sure the HH2 will be even better
  6. Yeah it's a shame that bud, especially as so many people rave about the combination!

    My accident

Fantastic to hear your progress Sean! Is it wrong to ask if you know how your accident happened? You are in the back of my mind when I'm lowering for whoever I'm working for.
  8. I'm on kern Al. I'd have thought that kern and cougar couldn't be that different, they're both 11mm and static, it's real strange the problems you're having at the moment! Have you tried your HH back on your PI, to make sure it's not the HH that's misbehaving?
  9. If I was making a HH I would make the plates a tiny bit bigger so a special pulley could be put on with a slick pin, it'd just need a hole between the bottom slot and the edge. You could even slot the hole a little so the pulley moved in time with the karabiner?
  10. It's not quite as smooth as a pulley but plenty smooth enough. The main thing is that once it's on you don't have to think about it again. I found with the pinto it was a pain taking it on and off whenever necessary. I think the new cord helps loads too 👍
  11. I just bought 1m and use the standard HH hitch 👍
  12. I've got the large pinto spacer on mine now and using volcano cord, it's working like a dream 😀
  13. I thought it may be cheaper for chip as they don't have to process it. I only use the place every so often when I have a load of dirty brash I don't want to put through my chipper. Pleased it worked out well for you 😀
  14. No worries. It's not a council one, the folk who live there own it. The price went up a little after Christmas, I now pay £25 - £30 a load, so it's not the cheapest, but if you have nowhere else then it's worth it hey.
  15. It's where the red marker is so real close for you.
  16. There's a green waste site at Bramley.
  17. I don't know what the knot is, would it undo by itself under pressure (not with a gun to it's head)?
  18. Would a quick release knot undo easily under say 3 ton of pressure?
  19. I think the cable tie is a good idea if you keep one in your pocket and just use when at high risk. I know you should manage risk and always try and find a safer way but sometime needs must. I've seen a few times on here, highly regarded climbers, having to think of a quick release just incase.
  20. Sounds like you've had fun 👍 Any pics?
  21. They do look great! I wonder if there is a 'better' bearing that can be bought for a 150!?
  22. Oww go on Hodge, do tell....I'm shortly going to do mine!!
