  1. I've just started wearing the same gloves as they do on deadliest catch and they're great. It's been a chilly few days here and my hands have been roasting and bone dry too. The first type I got are the showa 660, they fit brilliantly and are real tough. The only thing is you do sweat a little in them. They are £3.50 off the bay. Then as it turned cold I thought I'd treat my hands to the showa 282 which are thermal and breathable. They're a tad dear at £13 but I haven't had slightly cold hands at all.
  2. Cool! Imagine that with petrol and a pilot light!!
  3. What's this mist conversion you speak of?
  4. That sounds and looks like a right beast!!!
  5. Cheers chaps, I'll take it to bit, clean all surfaces and then cover with Vaseline once put together. Any ideas why the glow plug light sometimes comes on and sometimes doesn't? It does have a real old looking ignition barrel and key, could it be to do with that? Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  6. I meant under the cover of the cable scraggs, not into the battery. Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  7. If the barrel is worn would it effect the warm up light coming on? Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  8. I think it's one of the ones you can't fill up spud so it shouldn't be that? It's a Bosch that was quite dear to get the required Amps and only a couple of months old. Maybe water has got down the plastic cover on the earth cable and corroded it? Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  9. I'll have a good at that scrags. It is a new ish battery, do the earth cables degrade after a while? I'll have a go at making a cover for it too, I'm sure it's probably meant to have one? Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  10. Hello The other day when starting my tw150(older version so battery's beside fuel tank) it was turning over dead slow and I noticed some steam or smoke coming from the negative terminal on the battery? The battery doesn't have a cover on it and it was raining a tad but it's usually fine like that. Once it'd started once it was fine for the rest of the day. What may have caused this? Also, the plug heater light sometimes works and sometime doesn't, any ideas why? Cheers Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  11. One of the chaps I work for has the new 441, if that's anything to go by then the new 661 should be awesome! Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  12. Cheers for the advice chaps, I'll give the traffic department at the council a ring and see what they say. Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  13. Hello I've been asked to do a front garden job which is all simple enough apart from there's no parking whatsoever due to double yellow lines. What do you do in this situation? Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  14. Cheers chaps, I may reconsider some glasses. Do the ones you posted Adam help with the sun? Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  15. Very good, keep us posted chap Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  16. I was thinking after I posted that, why would I want a HH add on when the whole OAR looks great. Do you sell them to the uk? Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  17. I saw a vid where you added your OAR to a Hitchhiker, how well did it work and do you sell the OAR bit for that application? Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  18. Cheers so far chaps. If like to avoid glasses if I can, not used to wearing them so find them a bit strange. I used to have the peltor visor and didn't have any probs but now have the msa set-up for the better defenders. Has anyone got the husqvarna one? Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  19. At the moment I have the msa metal mesh visor and it's no use to man nor beast! After the first few times of using it it became misshapen and and the mesh lets though loads of saw dust whenever I'm looking up! Most of the folk I work with have the plastic version which holds it's shape better the the mesh gaps still look a little large. Do people have a favourite? How's the husqvarna one, is it worth twice the price? Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  20. Gardenkit, you are a genius!! Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  21. The tool this chap has made at the end of his vid is spot on! Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  22. When mine went I struggled to fit the new one but then found a vid on YouTube, doing it his was took about 5 mins. Instead of using the metal bracket, I just put the cover on sideways to stop the spring popping. Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
