  1. Fair point. The only thing we had to do was put a lockable cage around the pump nozzle to stop unauthorised access.
  2. The big issue coming up is the big increase of ethanol in pump fuel due to come in next year. Currently checking with the estate insurance as to what changes we have to make to store a pallet at a time. They weren't ridiculous about our red diesel bund, only requiring us to make sure the nozzle was in a secure cage with a padlock.
  3. I like the empty vessel one. My mum told me a good one too; 'If you can't say anything nice, don't say anything at all'.
  4. Husqvarna 135. My other half's Dad got one from Forest and Arb for about £150 last year and has nothing but praise for it. He uses it for exactly what you plan to do, namely cutting Arb waste. You can easily afford a new one with your budget, and a couple of spare chains plus a sharpening kit.
  5. Sorry, Jon, no pics but they know who you are and what you did for them.
  6. Are you going to Jonesie's show in July, Jon?
  7. Money paid with a good description of why.
  8. +1 for Clinic Ace. Part of my responsibilities is the grounds of the various factories owned by the people I work for and we use this with great effect. Never tried it on well-established brambles though.
  9. Marolin Decespugliatrici - M400 / M400S / M480 Link for this model
  10. Having spoken to one of the team on the estate, it has apparently been used once.
  11. Sorry, but got no way of getting it over to you. I've never seen it used but it was bought to go on the back of a New Holland TN60DA.
  12. I'll still be putting the full £20 in as promised.
  13. Bump with a few pics. From looking online, I reckon on trying to get about £3,500 for it. Does that seem realistic?
  14. Kingwells in Braintree?
  15. McCulloch 1-51, currently in bits on my bench as it was held together with assortment of odd nuts and bolts when it was given to me.
  16. SWMBO has just put the kettle on.
  17. Ah, could be. It is Sunday morning after all.
  18. Surely towing a cube of logs, which weighs roughly 750kg itself, would put you over the 750kg limit when you add on the weight of the trailer itself?
  19. Had a similar problem with staining from brash on a render wall from a groundie being careless. Managed to shift it with a paste of biological washing powder applied and kept moist to allow it to work, followed by a good scrubbing. This was only from copper plum leaves might it could be worth a try. Good luck with it!
  20. What are they plated for and will I need an O licence?
  21. Where's Mendi's pac a mac? Nice coal-scuttle lid, btw.
  22. There is a search button to help you find the many threads on the subject or you can have a look at the site sponsors on the right hand side of the page. Happy hunting!
  23. I used to enjoy watching grass snakes hunting frogs and toads in my parents pond when I was a kid, and I was forever disturbing slow worms when I was looking for redworms to use for bait from the compost heap. I think kids who never see stuff like that really miss out, regardless of how many I-phones and X-boxes they have.
  24. Go careful when you disturb it then. They may well be laying eggs in there due to the heat.
  25. Keep your eyes open for recreational or 'reccy' climbs on here in your area. The people on here are a friendly bunch and you will probably be offered the chance to have a go for yourself without spending out on your own kit before you know if climbing is for you.
