1. So you mean when my ancestors invaded Northern England, they used Northumberland as a sort of condom?
2. About time you lot accepted it too.
3. Looks perfect to wear at Arb shows with a freshly ironed pair of ballistics.
4. Sounds like a very fair deal in the current economic climate. People often don't realise that just they want/need to earn £100 a day doesn't mean the job warrants it.
5. Had a nice big swarm appear in one of the orchards on Tuesday and they seem to have taken up residence in an empty hive there. Lots of activity there over the last couple of days.
6. Cheers mate, will do.
7. That's the plan if I can get a pass. Just been mucking about with it some more and the spark is a bit weedy so next step will be a new plug. Looks like the cable was gripped over tight by a cable tie or two.
8. More good news. Just tipped the old fuel away and it was pink so my worst fears were unfounded.
9. Had a fiddle with the cable and it seems to be sticking just enough to catch unless you really haul on the handle. I can get it pulled up enough to get the engine to pull over like a normal un-siezed mower so now I know what I am dealing with. Thanks very much for your help, Rich. Please see me at Jonesies for a free beer.
10. Ah, I think I get what you mean. The orange handle on the handlebars at the top? I just held that down while I pulled her over and it was a lot more free.
11. Just checked it and the blade turns when I pull on the starter cord. Not sure what you mean by the handle on the top?
12. Still going through the kit I've 'inherited' from my predecessor on the estate, I've got a Flymo GT500 hover mower with a Suzuki M120X engine in it. Despite the engine being a 2-stroke, the fuel cap says Unleaded and it is my guess somebody has run it on such as the engine felt as near siezed as you can get without being solid. I've put some oil in it through the plug hole and it will now turn with the use of a socket but I don't see it running without some serious work. It is difficult to ascertain the level of damage through the exhaust port. I know they are a good machine on slopes, and the particular site this machine is from has more than a few, so will I be able to source the parts to fix it? I'd like to get it done as I reckon it will be very useful.
13. Fiiiiiiiight!!!!!!
14. Wouldn't Chewy give you a push start?
15. Really sorry for your loss, fella. I always hate it when I lose an animal friend. I've had it 3 times in my ife and it's no easier every time. If it's any consolation, I expect he will be waiting for you further down the track, like mine are waiting for me.
16.
Ta mate <img src="<fileStore.core_Emoticons>/emoticons/smile.png" alt=":)" srcset="<fileStore.core_Emoticons>/emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

17. I'm busy having a sort out of kit we don't use on the estate and amongst it all is a Port Agric M400 Typhoon flail/ hedgecutter. It looks completely unused to me and it will remain so as there isn't a need for it where we are. Anybody got any (preferably sensible) suggestions as to value? I think it's a 2007 model. Thanks!
18. Man up, Wendy.
19. I think that the point of the lane-hogging one is not that you are causing an obstruction, more that you should be driving in the inside lane if available and, if you haven't noticed that the lane is free, you are driving without due care and attention. Not sure on the points situation though?
20. He committed a criminal act with the aim of making money,ie the proceeds, in the same way as somebody would sell stolen property to make money so I can see the thinking behind it. My guess is that they used that particular legislation as it would hit harder financially.
21. What happens if some of the students are arseholes too? Would that skew the results significantly?
22. My 357 XP, first saw I ever bought brand new.
