  1. Beats wasting it.
  2. Get well soon, you doddery old sod. Let us know if we can help.
  3. Don't worry about it, mate, ask away. If you don't ask then you won't get anything. I'm sure you will find somebody with some conifer or similar that they want shot of.
  4. Do you think it could be connected with the robbery the other day?
  5. Given the way that the current Government have been steadily dismantling the UK's armed forces, I would think that they are planning to be part of a combined European 'superarmy' in the future rather than being able to take care of ourselves.
  6. No, that's a goat stimulator you are thinking of.
  7. I think he actually works in Forestry.
  8. We know wood fairies exist so why shouldn't tooth fairies? On the OP's original question, I think I would side with 'Out' as I hate trekking through EU legislation. It would be nice to actually govern our own country again.
  9. Here you go, Tom. Hope this works; https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=10202348153002419&set=gm.10152300099995071&type=1&theater
  10. There's a pic posted on the Facebook page at the moment of a lad who has a similar injury from a groundsaw (550XP, IIRC).
  11. I have to say wearing a beret is a bit odd.
  12. Lacking in social skills I may be(although in comparison to you I'm the essence of good manners) but I'm not the one resurrecting the conversation by referring to antis. For the record, I myself shoot for the pot and pest control purposes. I just don't think it portrays you as a worthwhile use of DNA to suggest that shooting a cat trapped in a tree is either amusing or acceptable but I suppose we all get our sense of worthwhile in different places. By the way, treat yourself as well as the rest of us to some capital letters and punctuation occasionally.
  13. Where were you working?
  14. The only reliable way to kill something like a fox with a normal air rifle would be to club the poor sod to death . Horses for courses.
  15. With the amount of crap laying around the pavements in many cities, they don't even need to scavenge. It's served up on a platter for them.
  16. Do you mean the antis that objected to you suggesting shooting a cat out of a tree?
  17. I can safely say I don't qualify on age grounds.
  18. I still have a few bits from firms I subbed for but I made a point of not wearing them at inappropriate times.
  19. Anybody left your employ who still has any company logo workwear?
  20. No idea, but it always keeps me warm.
  21. More importantly, we couldn't make Gin without it.
  22. And so another post gets closed.
  23. Of course, it could be some poor sod who has just paid good money for a lead on Ratedpeople; West Africa.
