  1. Spot on.
  2. I have a Husqvarna 142 which has had a new plug and air filter. I have reset both the L AND H screws to 1 and 1/4 turns. It fires fine on choke then when I try to start it, it fires then dies straight away, whether the brake is on or not. The only way it will run is with the idle cranked high enough to rev it hard from the off. Could it be the clutch spring is weak or something else?
  3. No, but to change the subject I think that somewhere I have a used tonneau cover for that model if you need one.
  4. Arrived today, and all Dan would take is a donation to the RNLI for the postage. Thanks mate, you are a true gentleman.
  5. Have you tried one of these? Portek PowerStrim 6 replacement strimmer head I use this with the heavy grey serrated stuff for hard going and Starium line for lighter growth. Edit. Sorry, that was supposed to be a link. F R Jones sell them though
  6. I had a problem a couple of years back with the sole splitting on a pair of Protector Pro boots well within the 2 year warranty. I had lost the receipt by then but I contacted Haix through a work wear company (Brix work wear, dealt with a guy called Gary) I found on-line and, after I gave Haix the serial number in the boots, they sent me a brand new pair without any arguments. The person I dealt with at Haix was called Cordelia Wagner. To the OP, PM if you want their email addresses.
  7. A few years ago, I saw a tree that had blocks of wood nailed to the trunk to act as footholds above ladder height to enable it to be dismantled by the home owner who was an ex-submariner in his 80s. Hell of a bloke.
  8. You could follow the sandal instead.
  9. You've missed the bit where 4 of the monkeys try to crawl up the backside of the lead monkey.
  10. Forget the cabbage. Follow the gourd!
  11. Probably just me.
  12. It certainly creates a more healthy root stock than standard enclosed potting. Can't be cheap either as the guy who I bought it from removed the 'pot' and wrapped the root ball in hessian before delivering it. Does look like something that belongs in a Soho window though.
  13. Can't help with the theory of it but I bought a Copper Beech recently that had been grown in one of these and the root ball was superb.
  14. I bet you say that to all the boys.
  15. Because it's still the same saw and still very good service. To be comparable, you would need to buy the saw from F R Jones but then go and collect it yourself or accept having no warranty.
  16. Try clicking your heels together and saying 'there's no place like home, Toto'. You just have to believe, Jon.
  17. Reminds me of a Turkey Oak reduction from a few years back.
  18. Having met Matt at his stables and seen him doing extraction with his horses, I can tell you that he is a very sound guy and I can imagine this course being great fun and very instructional. If I could have got time off work, I would snap up a place.
  19. That's great, thank you! I will pm you my address. Please let me know what you want for it.
  20. Yes please. If it's easier for you, let me know what you want for that side as it comes off when the bar nuts are taken off to save you the hassle of stripping it down.
  21. Ditto with roads. The A127 in Essex seems to be badly affected.
  22. Sorry for your loss.
