  1. Having met Matt at his stables and seen him doing extraction with his horses, I can tell you that he is a very sound guy and I can imagine this course being great fun and very instructional. If I could have got time off work, I would snap up a place.
  2. That's great, thank you! I will pm you my address. Please let me know what you want for it.
  3. Yes please. If it's easier for you, let me know what you want for that side as it comes off when the bar nuts are taken off to save you the hassle of stripping it down.
  4. Ditto with roads. The A127 in Essex seems to be badly affected.
  5. Sorry for your loss.
  6. Sorry to hear your news, Simon. Hope you and your's will be ok.
  7. Can't beat Maple syrup, Chinese 5 spice and Soy sauce as a marinade for duck.
  8. Oooh, you old cynic.
  9. Just to lower the tone, I am looking for a clutch cover (the plastic panel bit that holds the chain tensioner has given way) for a McCulloch 335 that I want to get shot of at a boot sale or on Gumtree. Has anyone got one kicking about that they can sell me please?
  10. Combine it with a Big Shot competition using paintballs instead of throw bags.
  11. Dogging not doing it for you anymore?
  12. Good man. Don't do so much that you knock yourself out though.
  13. I'm sure it's not deliberate but it is very misleading to be selling a measure of 3 litres illustrated with a 5 litre container. I looked at this last night and just enlarged the picture to see the size as I could see no mention of volume on the product page.
  14. And an old Ford Maverick that I had. We had a theory it was somebody after the alloys.
  15. Sorry if I've given you or anybody else the impression that I felt you were in the wrong. I was only commenting on Andy's and Amy's posts.
  16. Thanks on both counts, David.
  17. If you can stick it out, get what you want out of them and then move on in a better position. Make it work for you then stick two metaphorical fingers up and walk away with your head held high and your experience on your CV.
  18. Both spot on comments. We have a young guy who works with us and the first thing he was told was that there is no such thing as a stupid question so if you don't know something, just ask. Luckily, there are no ego warriors on our team and so he gets treated properly and is progressing rapidly. It beats me why people treat others with complete disrespect and then bleat about being treated the same way.
  19. Found this on an Ash coppice the other day. Is it Dryad's Saddle?
  20. Stop talking bollocks. Speaking for myself (and I would hope most of the other people on here), I'm sure you will fight this and if there is anything we can do to help then you just need to ask. Push for all the help you can get from the docs and don't be a shrinking violet when it comes to doing it. Best wishes to you and your's.
  21. We're having a large pond restored on one of the sites I look after and part of the work involves using coir rolls with the marginal plants alreay planted in so they have a head start. I don't know a massive amount about them but it may give you the edge that you need.
