  1. Oh dear, did the poor man get kicked by the nasty horse?
  2. Glad I'm not the only one then.
  3. It's all about an area of the law called Occupier's Liability. There are different levels of Duty of Care to different visitors ie you would owe a higher level of Duty of Care to a legitimate visitor such as the postman than you do to a burglar. If you deliberately set out to injure a trespasser/burglar with traps and devices designed to injure then you are highly likely to end up in court. If somebody injures themself on a legitimate security measure while trying to break in, that is their problem. As for sueing, there is a defence known as ex turpi causa non oritur actio which basically excludes somebody from claiming for such an injury obtained while engaged in a criminal act. Mere trespass, however, is a civil rather than a criminal act.
  4. I've got a book by the RHS which says they are one and the same?
  5. I remember seeing a nicely bent guide bar on a Stihl 260 that had been left in the hopper of a tracked Jensen by somebody we used to refer to as 'Idiot Boy'.
  6. 200 quids worth of glasses. Luckily, I had my prescription sun glasses in the truck or the drive home would have been interesting.
  7. Fixed that for you, mate.
  8. That makes me feel rather old. I nearly said Hai Karate but that is before my time, let alone yours.
  9. A lighter touch with the Kouros will also help with the nausea. Remember, less is more.
  10. Wish I hadn't bothered now.
  11. Both Fagus sylvatica purpurea (excuses if I have misspelled it).
  12. Picked it up from work and it is at mine in Maldon.
  13. I'm starting to have problems with the Kumho KL 71s on my Isuzu which are beginning to deform as well.
  14. Nice offer.
  15. I got told that there is a tanker load sealed in pitch and buried in the side of a Welsh hill.
  16. I see what you did there.
  17. I struggled to get them in a 12, I can tell you.
  18. He is a big old boy, Jon.
  19. I've got one that weighs 8 kilos, Jon. They don't call him Big Harry for nothing.
  20. Got one ordered anyway. Haven't taken it apart yet but for the sake of a fiver, I thought I would get one.
  21. Best way to look at it is 5% vat for the end user, 20% for anybody else.
  22. I won't be able to get my hands on it until Monday as it is at my work and I am on holiday until then. I will pm you my number later.
  23. Is this the bit I need? P/N: 5300534-35, showing as a seal pulse.
