  1. It's not an open group so I think you need to be a member to view it.
  2. Good post . Any idea as to models?
  3. I used to live next door to her.
  4. I've got 2 nests of them in the Ivy outside the office window. Hell of a racket.
  5. Looks like you made the right decision.
  6. Especially when they are done in crayon.
  7. Why, thank you, kind sir.
  8. Speaking for myself, I think you are more afterbirth.
  9. I bet they had a limited selection of DJs to show clips of.
  10. Just count yourself lucky I didn't suggest it was prophylactic.
  11. Looks like Jew's Ear fungus, Dave. Saprophytic I think.
  12. Have you tried contacting Husqvarna direct, Khriss?
  13. You could try an ericaceous feed mixed up in a watering can. Miracle Gro do a decent one IIRC.
  14. I think growler means something different down here.
  15. Big Harry's been busy with the baby mice off the nearby allotments recently.
  16. I would try it before you sell it. If you aren't happy with it yourself, don't sell it.
  17. It tends to smoulder rather than burn IME. Yes, it's wood and will burn eventually but if you are selling it to customers then you will get complaints about it. Upsetting your source of income makes it a crap firewood as far as I am concerned.
  18. Sorry to disappoint you but it's not good firewood either. I have heard that it was imported for shipbuilding after the Armada due to that very property but I don't know how true that is.
  19. No idea as to actual numbers but I know it would be many times the number I have felled.
  20. Oh dear, did the poor man get kicked by the nasty horse?
  21. Glad I'm not the only one then.
  22. It's all about an area of the law called Occupier's Liability. There are different levels of Duty of Care to different visitors ie you would owe a higher level of Duty of Care to a legitimate visitor such as the postman than you do to a burglar. If you deliberately set out to injure a trespasser/burglar with traps and devices designed to injure then you are highly likely to end up in court. If somebody injures themself on a legitimate security measure while trying to break in, that is their problem. As for sueing, there is a defence known as ex turpi causa non oritur actio which basically excludes somebody from claiming for such an injury obtained while engaged in a criminal act. Mere trespass, however, is a civil rather than a criminal act.
  23. I've got a book by the RHS which says they are one and the same?
  24. I remember seeing a nicely bent guide bar on a Stihl 260 that had been left in the hopper of a tracked Jensen by somebody we used to refer to as 'Idiot Boy'.
