  1. I'm more than ready to be corrected but I suspect nobody has ever been killed as a direct result of buying a chainsaw on-line.
  2. Can anyone help me with the carb settings for a Husqvarna 142 please?
  3. Sometimes it's just very tempting, I know.
  4. Stop feeding it and it will go away.
  5. No need to ban it if nobody feeds it.
  6. Don't name them, for God's sake! You know who will grass them up.
  7. Get them to add your email address to their contacts list before you send the quote so you won't go into their spam box.
  8. Just gag him, he'll be fine.
  9. Apparently not.
  10. You need a bloke who was active in my area some years ago who went under the name of The Barling Bomber.
  11. I believe Johnny Quick has done a tutorial on this very subject.
  12. Judging by his other hand, he does have an idea of Risk Assessment.
  13. Sounds to me like you should just progress straight to the legal advice stage. I was always surprised at how ill-informed HR departments are. Had you had a lot of confrontation with them in the past?
  14. I would be asking if your possession and use of 'non company equipment' was common knowledge to your supervisors and, if so, for how long? If it was well known and they chose to ignore it, that term of your contract would be IIRC no longer binding as they have accepted the variation by course of conduct if a given period of time has elapsed (you would need to check how long). I would also be asking why they think they are better qualified to make a decision on what is or isn't an offensive weapon than the CPS.
  15. Get legal advice. If you have legal cover on your home or motor insurance, you may find the wording will allow you to use that. If not, talk to your local CAB or see if your local university has a law school that has a pro bono advice set up.It sounds to me as though the HR section of your employer's concern is shaky on disciplinary matters. A suspension of 3 months is highly irregular for starters, unless your dismissal is as a result of criminal conviction?
  16. It's true. He has, however, more than made up for it since.
  17. Somebody will be along in a minute to say that it should be Unimog.
  18. Knew I had missed something.
  19. No, you came on here for a spot of stirring. Your refusal to name the dealership you represent says one of 2 things to me. Either you are a troll who has no connection with any Stihl dealer or, if genuine (which I and others highly doubt), you are at least astute enough to realise that your business methods are sly, underhand, a poor substitute for genuine business acumen and likely to quite rightly see you ostracised by more capable dealerships who don't need to use spoiling tactics to get on. Happy holidays to you too.
  20. Fixed that for you, mate.
  21. Just as a few people have guessed.
  22. If you think your actions are justified, what's the name of your dealership?
  23. Get some big wood and give it some welly with your loudest , biggest saw as a finale.
