  1. Sorry, I meant Denver Max.
  2. Given the last few months I have had, you would not believe just how spot on you are with that.
  3. Put some corrugated cardboard under the mulch to help with the decompaction. The glue in the cardboard attracts worms.
  4. I've got a D Max and I can't fault it. I don't know what the L200 is plated to tow but the Isuzu is 3 tonnes.
  5. Mate, that's inhuman.
  6. Estate management is tougher than either of them. Somedays I don't get my first brew until I've been in my chair for at least 5 minutes.
  7. Glad they managed to help.
  8. I prefer the expression 'went down like a cupful of cold vomit'.
  9. Oooh, get you, Egon bleedin' Ronay. I take you aren't one of the Paleo diet lot then, Stevie?
  10. I laugh at crap jobs and I don't even do tree work anymore.
  11. As long as you don't stray from the topic, all will be fine.
  12. He didn't mean you.
  13. I haven't yet managed to stump Stanton Hope's with a request for some unusual Husky parts.
  14. I've got a late model (2010) Denver Max and that is only rated for 3 tonnes.
  15. Hope you get a result on this, Matty.
  16. Especially if you are planning on making gunpowder.
  17. Was it on the Employment section?
  18. Also a possible issue of not being able to remove the helmet in the case of a spinal injury.
  19. Slightly different from 'tipping your crap on their drive' then. I have a friend who had some success with a nice load of manure tipped on a late payer's driveway. They paid up before the second load that they 'had ordered' was delivered to their business address.
  20. Not when you get done for fly-tipping, it won't.
  21. Traded a day grounding for a nearly brand new Husky 236. Same guy gave me a very decent old MS260 as a finder's fee for a nice big arb job. Both were very much appreciated.
  22. I've bought saws off of eBay, mostly ok but one bad. I got a full refund through PayPal for the bad one as the vendor's description of it had been completely misleading, describing a saw that was fine apart from a broken starter recoil spring rather than the seized piece of scrap that it was. He made a big fuss, saying it was described as spares or repair, but he must have known he was in the wrong as he never asked for it back after the refund.
  23. I was thinking that too.
  24. Of course we are all equal. Just some more than others.
