  1. Nice one, John. Things seem to be moving.
  2. Dear Stihl, Whilst progressive companies continue to tailor their products and services to evermore discerning and informed customers - you seem to have decided that a policy of pushing buyers into your dictated way of business will prove profitable. When has that ever been acceptable? This seems to be the action of a company who cares little about competition and less about once-loyal customers - I think you've just given your competitors more help than they could have dreamed of. Jokes???

An amazing story - it reads like a 'case study' that has been put together for law students to ponder over.
  4. If it's still slipping, try another wrap on the hitch and have very short tails to the eyes and/or try turning the hitch away from the spliced eye.
  5. Reg - these videos are becoming more than just tree work vids, they're becoming real episodes! Thanks for the effort on putting this one together. And Reg - with the long hair an' all, you now look like Ted Neeley (Jesus Christ Superstar).
  6. Youtube RC3100 Pretensioning Pulley Distributed by Bishop Company ?
  7. Fiddle blocks only, Chris?
  8. Ex-president George W. Bush always talked about his fellow merkins.
  9. I've wondered that myself. They must use some of the power output, and in small engines every little bit counts. Does anyone have facts or figures?
  10. Why's that, then?
  11. I'm one of TEN children! I've seven sisters and two brothers. I'm the second youngest. I've got two wee girls of my own - and a wife that comes with them.
  12. You're a generous man, Tony.
  13. After a day walking along the bottom of an escarpment, and after me waxing lyrical about a particular bird of prey we had seen on the rockface above, my 8 yr old drew a picture and wanted to know how to spell 'pair of green falcons' (think about it).
  14. Ty, stop talking as if children are a bit of a burden in the middle of great life plans - they might just be the most important thing you'll ever do.
  15. I liked the saw change. Down - Up!
  16. Arran, is the ISC pulley recommended for direct contact with textiles in the way the Pinto is?
  17. Not sure how big you're talking about. Might they be big enough to fit round the pin of an ISC pulley?
  18. As long as the harness has a section of bare webbing not wider than 45mm. The caritool hooks round the back of the webbing - if you know what I mean.
  19. The instructions that come with it says they are. And besides - if the bridge is connected to them, how can a lanyard connected in the same way make them different?
  20. The rings on the Sequoia too.
  21. I think that's the first time the same person has opened a thread and answered it immediately! Good work!
  22. Thanks for the info, so will it be left bare to colonise naturally?
  23. I was wondering along the same line. What will it end up as?
