  1. Its the water part that lets you spray within your 2 meter buffer zone and onto water. Its handy to have, i did mine and its an extra 10 minutes
  2. They are swarming up here in Scotland at the mo... Everyone has already named all the brands of ointments and sprays but i keep covered up whenever i can. The midges are bad up here and i wear a light weight balaclava in the morning when its cool enough.
  3. I use my felco 6s everyday nearly, we have both makes and everybody seems o snap up the felco's first...
  4. 46. I use mine all the time.
  5. Good post, what a guy. RIP
  6. Some sort of fungi or some old roman gold coins?
  7. My tree plantations are planted all around my house ( literally outside the front/back door ) so it takes less than a minute to walk to work. Couldnt resist it, sorry...
  8. I used to train in a gym with some complete meat heads/steroid monkeys that threw shakes down their necks for fun. Costs a load of money and for what... When i was bang into the weights i used to eat porridge for breakfast, pasta with tuna or salmon for lunch, steak/chicken breast, veg and spuds every night with nuts and dried fruit through the day. I could press more, squat more and curl more than any of the sted heads that drank shakes for fun... People underestimate a good diet. And i am NOT by any means calling you a " sted head" button thats just my expierence of it.
  9. Nae bother Hama!
  10. If you get the MAPP number you can can get in touch with the manufacturer and get off label info. I do this with a lot of our chemicals because there are always rates for agricultural crops but never christmas trees.
  11. What are you targeting? Yes it worked very well for me, i used 800ml per 1000lt of water in my big mist blower. Its pretty nasty so do take care when handling the concentrate.
  12. Liddel is lethal with them jabs. Good fight that
  13. Me and the boy... When is the show?
  14. Ive got Pa 1,2,6,6w,9 tickets deanO, im up in dumfries (Scotland) but if its worth my while il travel. You got a number? I have a pal back home in Wigan that does a bit of spraying and its a bit closer than Dumfries! Regards, Rik
  15. I dont know if copper nails really do it, so maybe your right? As for concentrated soluble copper sulphate that info is tried and tested. ( not by myself, before the eco mods go mad )
  16. I didnt always used to be a tree grower Sam, i used to be the foreman for dave's site clearance firm and thats how i used to roll...ha
  17. Blah blah blah Dave just cut it down n pour some diesel on the stump... DONE
  18. Copper nails take a while for the tree to take in, copper sulphate powder mixed with neat glysophate is the quickest way of making a tree go bad. Check for holes drilled into the tree around soil level and covered over with dirt or bark.
  19. Spot on, his yard is round the corner from my house. Got some good kit in there.
  20. Il second that... Danish xmas tree growers are coming to Scotland and buying up land for fun! Cheaper up here...
  21. Not in the midlands mate but Barony college run a decent course for begginers and people with a bit more exp. Good instructors there.
  22. Im with you there Hama but for the numbers we put out it wouldnt be viable. I leave lots of rough land round the edges of the blocks and use seaweed and naturally occurring fertilisers where possible, i know all that is negated by the fungicides/pesticides i use though. . .
  23. Cheers Hama, as ever an interesting theory. I dont think it would be possible to produce potted frasers on a organic basis... I will certainly look into it though. I will have some beautiful 6,7 ft scots pine this year if you still want one. Il sort it out for you if want. Cheers J, i have been onto a farm in Denmark asking how they treat it and the rhizophera shouldnt build up a resistance to Delsene. Pretty nasty stuff Delsene. I need to sterilize the nurserys after every season with a oxidizing disinfectant. Phew... Gobfull or what...
  24. My first fathers day to Lorry... Had a top day.
