Could be water in the fuel tank if a fuel filter change cured it for a while.
  3. I very much doubt it will happen, at least not for any length of time, might get a short blackout or so, designed by greedy energy providers to make a political point. Mendi plogs will no doubt have one every Friday night..... cider induced!
  4. I doubt the truth of them drinking it, read this; Data from the California Environmental Protection Agency's Pesticide Illness Surveillance Program, which also tracks other agricultural chemicals, shows that glyphosate-related incidents are some of the most common.[81][82] However, incident counts alone do not take into account the number of people exposed and the severity of symptoms associated with each incident.[82] For example, if hospitalization were used as a measure of the severity of incidents, then glyphosate would be considered relatively safe; over a 13-year period in California, none of the 515 reported hospitalizations were attributed to glyphosate.[82] Deliberate ingestion of Roundup in quantities ranging from 85 to 200 ml has resulted in death within hours of ingestion, although it has also been ingested in quantities as large as 500 ml with only mild or moderate symptoms.[83] There is a reasonable correlation between the amount of Roundup ingested and the likelihood of serious systemic sequelae or death. Ingestion of >85 ml of the concentrated formulation is likely to cause significant toxicity in adults. Corrosive effects – mouth, throat and epigastric pain and dysphagia – are common. Renal and hepatic impairment are also frequent and usually reflect reduced organ perfusion. Respiratory distress, impaired consciousness, pulmonary edema, infiltration on chest x-ray, shock, arrythmias, renal failure requiring haemodialysis, metabolic acidosis, and hyperkalaemia may occur in severe cases. Bradycardia and ventricular arrhythmias often present prior to death. Dermal exposure to ready-to-use glyphosate formulations can cause irritation, and photo-contact dermatitis has been occasionally reported. These effects are probably due to the preservative Proxel (benzisothiazolin-3-one). Inhalation is a minor route of exposure, but spray mist may cause oral or nasal discomfort, an unpleasant taste in the mouth, or tingling and irritation in the throat. Eye exposure may lead to mild conjunctivitis. Superficial corneal injury is possible if irrigation is delayed or inadequate.[46]
  5. That's a tough road Chris, got the tee shirt myself, I do hope things work out in an acceptable way for you.
  6. We still all have to play by the rules mate, but for what it's worth I didn't see it as an add.
  7. Yes Sky, I did read it, but it is up at a classified add price for £500, I thought that meant he was obliged to sell it at that price, even though the description says different. At that price it would be worth buying, I wouldn't pay more myself, as I would be after turning a profit. Sometimes I'm not too sharp at making myself clear.
  8. The lump & winch etc would help keep other history going, I bet you would struggle to get a loler ticket on it, & nice though it is, & a shame to cut it up, that's most likely what will happen to it.
  9. I know mate, a monkey is £500, as advertised, but I think the seller is after more.
  10. Strictly speaking it's selling for a Monkey, but, I think that he intended that to be the start bid price, hmm, if it was near me I would have a pop at the stated price & break it up, if he honoured the sale!
  11. Fuel lines on these & the tw125 do break down, I would replace them, & clean out the tank too. If your fuel pump is on the engine a perforated fuel pipe can often show no signs of a leak, but will draw air whilst running, causing engine running problems.
  12. Point taken, just thought it was the usual kit pics.
  13. I don't think it's for sale, only just had the AA stickers put on it.
  14. Just crack on, might smoke a bit for a few minutes, but your saw is newish so the petrol most likely hasn't softened the carb rubbers.
  15. You will be fine, on rare occasion the carb rubbers play up due to the change of fuel ( no ethanol), go for it, you wont look back.
  16. I hung my ground up by the ankles once, great fun!

    Jokes???

Teacher: "Four crows are on the fence. The farmer shoots one. How many are left?" Little Johnny: "None." Teacher: "Listen carefully: Four crows are on the fence. The farmer shoots one. How many are left?" Little Johnny: "None." Teacher: "Can you explain that answer?" Little Johnny: "One is shot, the others fly away. There are none left." Teacher: "Well, that isn't the correct answer, but I like the way you think." Little Johnny: "Teacher, can I ask a question?" Teacher: "Sure." Little Johnny: "There are three women in the ice cream parlor. One is licking, one is biting and one is sucking her ice cream cone. Which one is married?" Teacher: "The one sucking the cone." Little Johnny: "No. The one with the wedding ring on, but I like the way you think."
  18. You have perked my ears up saying that, sounds nice!
  19. Probably does!
  20. A great present, & happy birthday to you!
  21. Modesty is a virtue that is not generally noticed, Boastful ramblings after a while are discarded. Better to be not seen than cast asunder.
  22. Well in all the excitement, from a mere minion:001_tongue:, well done on getting your AA status, Silky, do you have an open cheque book, wasn't so long ago you were on your bike! Wishing you all the best, you have done well, & keep up the modesty that is so familiar to a true northern man, or machine...
  23. Treequip, I fully endorse anyone who questions hard commercial enterprise, or anything for that matter, but in general the fuel works well in saws, it is a fact that it contains less of the nasty additives, ( which we breath in from a close quarter used 2 stroke), & is more stable when left in a combi can, ( which we all use). It is more expensive to use, fact, it can be harder to attain for too many people, these are the stumbling blocks. So in a succinct reply can you enlighten me to your reasons for scepticism on this type of fuel? as I stand rather perplexed, & as a rule respect your knowledge & input.
  24. It does make the 150 more responsive, & less likely to bog out in the cut, glad I did mine even though I use it for sub 4 inch cuts unless a bit of deadwood or the occasional larger piece needs sorting.
