1. Awkward job there Steve,as said, the owner was fortunate in where it ended up!
  2. Try Writtle college, they do chainsaw courses.

  4. [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g1w3yn8uqGg]David Bowie - Please Mr Grave Digger - YouTube[/ame]
  5. I worked on the railways years ago, on relay. I got reported to the union a few times by co-workers,(read shirkers), for working too hard & setting a bad example by doing so, stunning performance.
  6. Send the ground in first, if he comes out happy you should be ok!
  7. Ah, sorry mate, I was talking tipper, (my landy tipper will only take about 1.25 ton legally).
  8. Think you might be surprised mate, most of them way about 2.2 or more ton empty, so you would do well to get more than 1.3 ton on a tranny, normally a fair bit less.
  9. I doubt it, most transits will not hold 1 1/2 ton anyway!
  10. I would have thought 4 to five ton top wack at a guess.
  11. Well for once it wasn't me that was the culprit Daniel!
  12. I had this Robinia to take out, it withstood the wind, but had split in many places, the electric shutdown finally got sorted at 2.30 this afternoon, & it had to get sorted in 2 hours, a couple of telecom wires in the target area, lv cables running through it, & about 70feet tall. Oh well the thing was as hollow as a Jeremy Clarkson comment, so no great loss! 13. I got called out to a local robinia, roadside, she is a biggy with multiple failures & still standing, lv cables through it so no can touch until a shutdown is achieved, still waiting... The road is closed, but that has not stopped the barriers being pushed out of the way & traffic flowing through with total disregard to highways signage, I wonder how that works legally if a car gets squashed.
  14. I prefer it when there's a bit of ppe involved, standards to keep you know.
  15. Give it another couple of hours, if it's going to hit you will know then, us lot over in Essex wont 'get wind of it' until the early hours.

Mine has similar horns, but without the sexy mouth!
  17.
Hope you had a good day, we did our enduro practice day today which was a blast, but second from last lap, in difficult conditions I had an 'off' & straddled the handlebars in a particularly unfortunate way! so one testicle is rather larger than the other right now, but I managed to get straight back on the bike & continue until close of circuit.

  18.

Hi mate, I'm off with my bike today, & will be with the 2 lads I'm going to the dirt bike show with, so I will know what day it will be later on.

Showed the wife some pics of your bike last night, but she has been doing some window shopping herself, & wants one of those Honda xr125', ( more money, & less capable learner bike).

I will find out when we are off to the show today & let you know.

  19. Don't let the client dictate that your price was too high, leave him with it, he might well have to eat humble pie & give you the go ahead.
