    hi all

    Hello Andy.
  2. No need to feel that way, just decide if you want a future on here, & work it out from there.
  3. It's a great shame if we lose some of the more experienced folk to the actions of a few idiots who chose to disrupt or be offensive.
  4. Plenty on this forum regarding that question, but it spans from potential health benefits through to machine parts longevity.
  5. A great post john, well thought out & timely.
  6. Bottle of rose, & a nice night cap of Harveys Bristol cream, bliss!
  7. It's a great thread mate, & if you need advice it is a good place to ask.
  8. I understand your frustration, but the Aspen wont be your problem. something else is going on with your machine, & you need to find out what the problem is to get it put right. Your shop is wrong in saying that machines need to be converted to run on Aspen, if the shop cant give you accurate advice I would be looking elsewere to get it fixed.
  9. Classic funny!
  10. Known a few over the years, I concur, nice folk in general.

The last bit about sums it up for me, we all like a good looking lass, no harm in that, but to write about someone who is participating on a thread, (such as this), is way different to honking on about some girl on the tv or in a calendar don't you think?
  12. Nice wee mog that, I like it!

Nothing to do with being up tight, xmas , or having a bit of fun in my opinion, it's about going a bit easy on a new member, & having respect for the women who come on here. Having an ogle at a calendar is way different to directing posts at an individual who is taking part in the forum, surely that is easy to grasp. Anyway, I'm not having a pop, just expressing my opinion on the matter.

I feel sorry for the young lass, she comes on here in all innocence & gets some pathetic comments thrown about. Some of the posters should be ashamed of themselves, but I doubt they will, one even says he has 'said nothing' after intoning the op should pm him some pics, priceless ignorance! What happened to having a bit of respect?
  15. That is a fallacy mate, I swallowed three of those, expecting a 'visit' following a phone call from my main admirer, only to find it a struggle not overcome once I got to where my stairs turn 90% to the left. The night was dutifully passed downstairs on the couch, which I proceeded to fall off in my slumber, looking like one of these..
  16. Chris, you have big shoulders, I hope I have too, positivity is an attitude, that in reality is strengthened by being open to other peoples opinions, that meet our favour or not. You know all of this already, & everything absorbed rather than repulsed strengthens anyone's abilities for the future. I do often wish I could take my own advice!
  17. Chris, Im sure Huck has, & if one post something it stands, & one can only expect others opinions to follow, that is the nature of forums & rightly so. You can start a thread, just as I can & do, but you cant control it like you own it, that is good reason to be careful in how one deliberates on pressing the 'submit reply' button, I know I have regretted a few posts I have made, doesn't make me or you a bad person, just a fallible human.
  18. Me too, Typical Bolam classic!

Could be water in the fuel tank if a fuel filter change cured it for a while.
  20. I very much doubt it will happen, at least not for any length of time, might get a short blackout or so, designed by greedy energy providers to make a political point. Mendi plogs will no doubt have one every Friday night..... cider induced!
  21. I doubt the truth of them drinking it, read this; Data from the California Environmental Protection Agency's Pesticide Illness Surveillance Program, which also tracks other agricultural chemicals, shows that glyphosate-related incidents are some of the most common.[81][82] However, incident counts alone do not take into account the number of people exposed and the severity of symptoms associated with each incident.[82] For example, if hospitalization were used as a measure of the severity of incidents, then glyphosate would be considered relatively safe; over a 13-year period in California, none of the 515 reported hospitalizations were attributed to glyphosate.[82] Deliberate ingestion of Roundup in quantities ranging from 85 to 200 ml has resulted in death within hours of ingestion, although it has also been ingested in quantities as large as 500 ml with only mild or moderate symptoms.[83] There is a reasonable correlation between the amount of Roundup ingested and the likelihood of serious systemic sequelae or death. Ingestion of >85 ml of the concentrated formulation is likely to cause significant toxicity in adults. Corrosive effects – mouth, throat and epigastric pain and dysphagia – are common. Renal and hepatic impairment are also frequent and usually reflect reduced organ perfusion. Respiratory distress, impaired consciousness, pulmonary edema, infiltration on chest x-ray, shock, arrythmias, renal failure requiring haemodialysis, metabolic acidosis, and hyperkalaemia may occur in severe cases. Bradycardia and ventricular arrhythmias often present prior to death. Dermal exposure to ready-to-use glyphosate formulations can cause irritation, and photo-contact dermatitis has been occasionally reported. These effects are probably due to the preservative Proxel (benzisothiazolin-3-one). Inhalation is a minor route of exposure, but spray mist may cause oral or nasal discomfort, an unpleasant taste in the mouth, or tingling and irritation in the throat. Eye exposure may lead to mild conjunctivitis. Superficial corneal injury is possible if irrigation is delayed or inadequate.[46]
  22. That's a tough road Chris, got the tee shirt myself, I do hope things work out in an acceptable way for you.
  23. We still all have to play by the rules mate, but for what it's worth I didn't see it as an add.
  24. Yes Sky, I did read it, but it is up at a classified add price for £500, I thought that meant he was obliged to sell it at that price, even though the description says different. At that price it would be worth buying, I wouldn't pay more myself, as I would be after turning a profit. Sometimes I'm not too sharp at making myself clear.
