1. Yes mate, I cut the old shell off the stub axle, slipped the new bearings in after a clean up, piece of cake& no wonky wheel! Got it done just before the rain started. It would have been great to get that job dusted Daniel, but hey ho, we will!
2. Yep, me too, no wonder we all get scalped on our rates. I would also like a prod at the 'hire co', too many companies are having over government orgs, at our expense.
3. +1! Had one for 4 years, never missed a beat.
4. I have used one for a day, its a small saw, similar size to the little echo or stihl ms150. Not a bad little saw for light reduction work / hedge bashing, but you wont be doing take downs with it. They seem reliable enough, have been around for a while in one form or another, that's about it really.
5. Iv'e been to a couple of mx practice tracks to get my hand back in again, & intend to get a few endures in soon,( bloody spellchecker wont let me spell endur o for some reason). The ktm sounds like its coming along nicely!
6. TCD is the leed climber in Whistmans Wood.
7. That's right mate, & it's job done on the mod. it's quite an eager bike once into the mid range:biggrin: Your advice about the handguards is spot on
8. Bless him, he's a good man, wish him the best.
9. If you tied a prussic with that it wouldn't fit on the back of the truck!
10. If you don't win it, I will get you a proper tea pot, (of my choice),
11. Sounds like a hydraulic leak now, that is a result!
12. Sounds like the clutch fork let go, common thing to happen. Check hydraulics, & if they are all good then that's most likely the problem. Replace with a reinforced one, or weld a stock one up to strengten it, don't buy br&&tpart!
13.
That sounds interesting mate, never new it was there even, going to google it!

14. I'm sorry to read of your plight regarding your tree, it obviously means a lot to you. I do feel that your best course of action would be to plant a replacement in a position that will avoid future issues with the neighbours, or see if your existing tree is viable to be re-planted in another location. This will cause you less distress in the long term, which is possibly the most favourable outcome you can achieve in the circumstances. It's a joy to hear you derive pleasure from your garden,& I hope you can get through this upheaval & find a settled solution.
15. Even if I just nip mine up gently, after some cutting they will not budge by hand,& can be touch & go with a tool. I think it's vibration causing them to tighten, not the end of the world, but the new caps might be worth me trying out. I'm not saying that your not getting old though!
16. Yes, they do work, but for some reason the oil cap on my 346xp tightens when using the saw, demanding a heavy hand or screwdriver to undo at refuel stops, I like the look of these for a bit more grip in undoing the caps on cold winter days, first thing in the morning. I'm a gadget man really!
17. Mate, you're salt of the earth, fantastic post!
18. You can imagine the trouble it has caused me over the years, but yes, it's a funny one for sure, I think it stems from the Dutch on my fathers side, but it could also be Irish, Indian, it sure isn't the cockney part of my heritage.
19. I get that, it could not have been explained it more efficiently, thank you.
20. , If they did fit you would have no worries off road! Hmm, sounds like she was a honey, if your still thinking on it, might have to send you back & grab her for me too, how do you fancy a nice fresh 3120xp...
21. Thanks mate, they did look rather fresh in the pics on epray, I think I did well buying them.
22. I am not well read on the subject David, but find this thread rather intriguing, so much going on under the surface, with comparatively little sign above ground. Excuse my naïve question, But I have seen on occasion the grass seems to be more lush in the circumference line of some of these rings, can you enlighten me?
23. Now I like the look of them, might have to grab some if they fit the 346 & 3120.
24. Sounds like you will need it Chris with all the pricing to do tomorrow, my pet hate is a days pricing, but you have to approach it in a positive state of mind, I kind of grin & bear it!
25. I enjoyed watching your video, very interesting & great sounds too, thanks!
