  3. Thanks for the heads up mate, paint for me!
  4. Sloth on here is very good, I have used him myself with total satisfaction, based in Colchester, so a bit of distance.
  5. Tony, you might want to phone him if the email takes too long, I can contact him & let him know the score if you wish. He is a bit of a character, & if you talk to him tell him its one of Andy Harris at AHCC that put you onto him, as they do business with each other. If he is too dear for it, I can get it done free gratis in Maldon, (at AHCC), as I am doing some foundations for him on a 'you scratch my back etc' basis.
  6. You could try Briz at CCD, worth a call, & he is mustard with fab work.He is in west Norfolk, I have one of his frames in my chopper. Custom cycle developments If not I have a bloke in Maldon who could do it if it's doable.
  7. I seen to remember that if the clearance is for construction work, ie in the footprint, or to clear for construction, then yes. If it is tree work not connected to the construction work, you might be ok. That's how I was dealt wit by a large con co. but it was some years back.
  8. Try a petition with the locals who might be affected, but at best you might slow the development down. Go to your local MP if you can find some backing for your cause, or good reasons to prevent the scheme. Doubt you will succeed against the council.
  9. Looking forward to the pics Paul, but no silky anymore......!
  10. Don't forget to dead wood it Silky! Pictures to prove!
  11. Looks great, I hope you did use the mewp for it!
  12. That was well worth a look, thanks mate, very evocative!
  13. Great tale, should have got her splitting the hornbeam afterwards though!
  14. Great news, lets hope the courts deal with them in harsh fashion!
  15. I think I have saved a fortune in Aspen using mine, they are a frugal saw.
  16. Nice write up, thanks.
  17. Makes sense to me, but I bet a lot of diseased wood will get into the firewood chain.
  18. I wish you luck getting that back, they are scum nicking a tradesman's transport.
  19. I don't get it, no way can comment be passed on wrong or right on the info given here, if you work in a messy environment that's where you are, good job it was kit that got broke & not an injury. Just my opinion, but a post looking for advice on an issue regarding liability for anything at all ought to be presented with all the facts, & in context, otherwise it's just blurry blurb looking for uninformed opinions, & that's a waste of time.
  20. Can you translate that?
  21. That's my conclusion on the oiling, regular cleaning is the way forward.
  22. I am dyslexic, it held me back at school as it was not recognized 44 years ago, & I was branded as lazy & listless. I used a dictionary up until a year ago on forums & invoicing which doubled the time it took to write. I have discovered spellchecker on the computer & it is just so easy to use & educates me at the same time.
  23. The TD5 will be fine standard, my mewp & trailer combo goes at 2.6t, & its a breeze to tow. I did get mine chipped, but that's because I wanted to, not needed to.
  24. Me too, same thing I asked, I got this, & I quote; i"m not say in descriptions that is husqvarna,it listed as chainaw with funny start price,i think i enough to understand.otherwise i will add about.
  25. It is derived from C.O.S, short for crock of sh..
