  1. Stunning!
  2. I was hoping Dan (the op) might let the seller know, ( friend of a friend of a ...).
  3. Obviously, maybe the seller should be told!
  4. A genuine saw at a bargain price is very likely stolen kit, just a thought.
  5. That's a fake, stay away from it.

    Run Time

I would have thought that about right, I have one of these old saws, but rarely use it.
  7. I opened up the exhaust outlet on mine, (the louvered slot), so rather than running parallel with the exhaust body, the outer flap is arched, pick up is faster, & it holds its revs in the cut better, no carb adjustments were needed on my saw,it runs cleaner, revs a little higher too.
  8. Came across a deal I couldn't resist, gets me back into the dirt bike scene for the odd endure, its a wr426, bog stock, there are a few free adjustments you can make to get better power from these, but that can wait for now. IMG_1776 by geoff321, on Flickr
  9. Nice looking work there mate!
  10. I too am getting a lot more work with distressed trees, I think it will be the weather we have had, & also trees have been left as not a priority for a few years due to financial constraints, then after a while they must be addressed as they have become a liability to the owners.
  11. I love it, top work, & the paint sets it off perfectly.
  12. That's not fair Felix, your wrong on the sex & the temperament.
  13. Top work Steve.
  14. My ex used to drink that by the gallon, explains a few things!
  15. Hello there, tough questions, but a bit more info might help; soil type,(which can change from one type to another on sloping ground), what professional body, ( no names) supplied the report. On ground that slopes, piles are at times recommended due to soil conditions not appertaining to the effect of trees, or to both if deemed to have an influence. Tree roots will travel uphill on a slope, to support the tree & remain in the upper levels of the soil, as they require moisture & nutrients found near the surface. Some clay soils are prone to shrinkage & expansion, often a seasonal effect. Sandy or ballast based soils are prone to slip & erosion on an incline,& often this will merit piles. This will most likely get moved to another section of the forum where you will no doubt receive a more informative response, with questions relative to your circumstances. Welcome to Arbtalk, & I look forward to reading further responses.
  16. Your both wrong, as usual, its a quercus obstreperous.
  17. This leads me to another big gripe, far too many builders ex squaddies, farmers sons etc trying to to belittle our nice monopolised pricing regime.
  18. Saw balance & grip shape too, not to mention flywheel effect, Not used one myself as I'm still running my 200t with a brand spanker as spare.
  19. Ouch, easy done & I'm glad you didn't mess the chipper up too much.
  20. Top tip mate, I knew I could rely on you, so lacy socks too from now on:thumbup: Where do you get yours from mate!
  21. Didn't you know, builders just get on with the job without moaning & bitching, they get more done. Not only that but they are clever chaps that can use a tape measure. I used to be a builder, but it didn't work out.
  22. I think Shane is bang on right here. But why do I get asked by the laundrette every visit to turn my socks out the right way & shake them, ( after peeling them off my sweaty feet so they end up inside out inside out after work), bloody saw shavings, they never mention my scants, & they are a lot worse.
  23. Age make & payload would influence the value to some extent, failing that I would think between £700 to a grand tops, (just because the one on ebay just started does not mean it will attract bids). If yours is a year old IW or Indespension, with a good payload it could fetch more.

    Jokes???

Brenda and Steve took their six-year-old son to the doctor. With some hesitation, they explained that although their little angel appeared to be in good health, they were concerned about his rather small penis. After examining the child, the doctor confidently declared, 'Just feed him pancakes. That should solve the problem.' The next morning when the boy arrived at breakfast, there was a large stack of warm pancakes in the middle of the table. 'Gee, Mom,' he exclaimed, 'for me?' 'Just take two,' Brenda replied. 'The rest are for your father'. An Irishman was drinking in a bar in London when he gets a call on his cell phone. He orders drinks for everybody in the bar as he announces his wife has just produced a typical Irish baby boy weighing 25 pounds. Nobody can believe that any new baby can weigh in at 25 pounds, but the man just shrugs, "That's about average up our way, folks... like I said… my boy's a typical County Clare baby boy." Two weeks later the man returns to the bar. The bartender says, "Say, you're the father of that typical Irish baby that weighed 25 pounds at birth, aren't you? Everybody's been making' bets about how big he'd be in two weeks .... so how much does he weigh now?" The proud father answers, "Seventeen pounds." The bartender is puzzled and concerned. "What happened?" "He was 25 pounds the day he was born." The father takes a slow swig of his Jameson Irish Whisky, wipes his lips on his shirt sleeve, leans into the bartender and proudly says, "Had him circumcised."
