  1. Pushing it somewhat, but it will pull it ok if you go easy on things, bloody good saws these are, loads of guts & well built too.
  2. Get a few tankfulls through them, make sure you have a good full chisel chain, & enjoy the quality!
  3. If the chain is the right one for the bar, check for a burred bar edge.
  4. Yep, I like it.
  5. Yep, short & to the point.
  6. Good luck tomorrow mate!
  7. It still says Husqvarna in Item specifics, I too have reported itt to ebay to no avail
  8. Do I detect the now discontinued in this country ms200? If so, I'm fascinated.
  9. Well she is wrong there, it does say Husqvarna in the specifics.

    Rats!

She flushed them out of their holes, the .410 & a terrier did the killing, she was a sharp Gill, & loved her work, & the terrier was a nice quiet one, the .410 didn't get much work, but was good sport nailing the odd rat the terrier didn't get to. The rat in the picture I seem to recall was taken with the gun, hence the back end being mushed up.

    Rats!

Used to love a rat hunt, I tend to just use traps & gas air rifle now, but dogs, ferrets, & a .410 when I was young, couple of pics from many years ago, I used to pick them up with a bramble frond, can't stand touching them. img038 by geoff321, on Flickr uuu by geoff321, on Flickr
  12. This was on the little 270tes saw, & only the one broke after years of use, none gone since. I would think the spares situation will be ok for the modern saws from Forrest & Arb.
  13. Not needed any other than a brake band on the little top handle a few years back, but that turned up in the post after a couple of days.
  14. I keep banging on about the Echo top handle, I know, but it simply has superior build quality to the big two, and performs competitively, at a reasonable price with a two year pro warranty. same applies to the lovely 620sx. A very silly move not to be at the show, I think sales would have picked up heavily, thing is we often are brand loyal, or at least 'big two' loyal, understandably, if Countax pushed these saws & got more people using them they would sell themselves.
  15. Good observation there Steve. I want one, but I am holding back until this is sorted, not for safety, but for the hassle of having to send it back, I just like stuff to be completely reliable.
  16. That's different, nice work!
  17. Should be fine if the oil specs are 50/1, you could try 40/1 if you are concerned.

    Echo cs620

good man BobbyDee, I'm really enjoying mine, it is bog standard at the moment, but might get some exhaust mods when I get my head round it, though to be honest it cuts well enough as it is, they do take time to bed in & give their best, mine has maybe 5 litres through it now.
  19. I think you might have ruined your chances with the last part!
  20. This is a useful tool in our fight against theft, I take my hat off to Steve & anyone else involved.

I have had a few saws in my time, early days with this one but I think It is likely to become very well regarded.

I know I'm harping on, but it really is a lovely saw, reminds me a bit of a smaller version of the Stihl ms460, but with a more refined build & handling. A high accolade indeed.
  23. That is one cool cat, nice work, & get yourself back to top form asap.
  24. Are you including yourself in that statement?
