  18. In my opinion a fine add, and they are donating to a fine charity, good work, looks like they got the idea from the book, written from the German side, 'All quiet on the Western Front', by Erich Maria Remarque, here is a link to the man, Erich Maria Remarque - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia The book itself is well worth a read at this poignant time...
  19. I agree thieves come in all sections of society, but it is the truth that some travelers do like a 'hot saw'! I'm 15 grand light on the strength of it, and on looking over the recovered saws in two police stations on separate occasions all had come from travelers motors or sites, the police themselves confirmed the statistics, you cant beat the facts I'm afraid, that is how it is in my area at least. This is not a biased post, it is a level headed conclusion of the facts before me i'm sorry to say.
  20. Shilo, I think from what I'm seeing & reading here, you have you just need new cutting gear, sprocket, chain & bar, then you will be up & running. These big saw bars get subjected to heavy loads, the timber by nature tends to be trunk wood which can be more contaminated than that up higher, and can be vulnerable to oil choice/ quantity too. I have encountered similar issues, on getting new parts double check the oiler is giving you plenty of lube.
  21. I bet they are hiding from those socks of yours!
  22. Interesting little video & job, I think this is one of those trees that its easy to do from your arm chair, but was probably a time consuming job in reality.
  23. Blimey mate, I got on a set like that, it told me I'm 13 &1/2 stone, ( just under 6 feet tall), full fit I like to be 14 stone, shoulder opp in December should permit me to get the shoulder/neck area back to mechanically correct, then its fillet steaks and bananas for dinner for a while, with some nice fresh oily fish and salad for breakfast!
  24. Go look in the relevant department at the council, isn't it there?
