    Bottled it!

At the end of the day its your life, your call, & if you were not happy with the tree then fair play to you. I would imagine most of us have encountered trees that for one reason or another we have declined from going up on a particular day, what we do goes against our instincts. Don't knock yourself, or take notice of others that might, ya big wuss!
  2. Do they need climbing, or straight fells? That can make a difference.
  3. I use my local dealer, he pretty much price matches, but if I am paying a little over the top at least I know help is at hand nearby if I get an issue, cheapest is not always best in most things. I'm not obsessed by price, but by a good local service & backup, a wise thing learnt the hard way.
  4. No one will have him!
  5. Try and get your hands on one for a day, one that has had some use, I think, having used both xp560, & the echo extensively, that you might be pleasantly surprised at just how good the echo is in the cut, and in the hand.
  6. Good post, the newer 360tes is a lovely saw.
  7. I dont see any power loss in my saws, & I like others using Aspen am a pro cutter, you also, with respect, seem unaware of the health implications of using pump fuel.
  8. Were I asked the 'why question' my answers would be the same, health implications, I fail to understand why people reject the option on price grounds, or any other. I run a small tree care business, & the cost is something I honestly dont notice short or long term.

  10. I find they are a great way to kickstart the day, most refreshing!
  11. Recently I have been using a juicer machine to make my breakfast / evening drink, using vegetables, tonight's was celery carrot parsley & tomatoes, now I only like the toms if eating the vegetables on there own, but this mix tastes lovely, & above all is good for me, so anyone else doing it? What are your recipes? Interested & got a juicer? My lovely lady does a juicing every morning, with veg, & pops an orange in too! I tasted it & was shocked at how good it tasted, so I will get her to reveal her magic mix to post here for anyone interested, it's worth a try even for the heathens ammongst us.
  12. Phone & wait round my way, it's worth the bit of hassle to do it right mate.
  13. Get a shutdown, phone your power company in the first instance, but do get a shutdown whatever you do or anyone else says.
  14. I have that little echo 280, it has done a lot of work over three years, & still going strong, its not the fastest, but its very agile, & bombproof.
  15. I have a place in Hatfield Peverel, but you will need 4wd to get in.
  16. That's what he told you!

    Disgusting!

Council said 'it appeared overnight'!!! What a load of b**llocks, someone needs the sack and now!
  21. Great motors, nothing in the 3.5 ton range will work as well at what it does, off road & carrying. On road they are fine, just ensure you fit full anti roll bars, no big deal, then it will be fine on the road with a load. Mine worked hard for years with few issues, nothing broke and it never stranded me, just keep your oils changed regular, & be liberal with your grease gun on the props.
  22. This sounds really nice, think I will get one on the go!
  23. Can't see that monstrosity re-kindling the love for your old flame, I would be at loggerheads over that. Just get me coat:blushing:
  24. Good luck to you mate, nothing like a good lass in your life.
  25. Nice confident crack on work attitude!
