I hate touchpads too, so my solution is to.... Not use it . Why do you want to deactivate it? Just plug a mouse in any Bob's yer uncle. No more anoying, sticky, unresponsive touchpad issues. -

What an eejit I've known far too many aggressive, inconsiderate riders like that who are stupid enough to think that an ability to ride fast is the same as being a good rider. And of course, it's always someone else's fault when they get taken out. Pah! Sorry, mini rant over

I know I suffer terribly with Reynaulds and anything that can keep my hands warm, dry and help to ease the pain is well worth it to me though. It's not as if I have to use them (the gloves) much these days

These are very expensive but are well worth it. They are about the best all round gloves I've used and are reasonably hard wearing. Buy Gold Leaf Winter Touch Gloves

I don't think it is a sport. The rest of the leaves proximal to the ones shown are green and so are the more apical ones. Even if it was a hightly valuable sport I wouldn't have a hope in hell's chance of finding it again anyway.

Yeah, I know It was a sapling I saw earlier today and I wrote the text without looking at the pics and refreshing my memory! So, well done for spotting the deliberate mistake and pointing out it is actually a cerris.

What would cause this not unattractive variagation in a Quercus robur? It was only a few leaves affected out of the entire sapling so I don't think it's a true "sport" and the area it was in means there was no chance that it was pesticide damage. Viral damage, pehaps? Dog wee, even???

I'm chuffed with this as it's my first one Female Purple Hairstreak (Neozephyrus quercus) It's either very newly emerged and hasn't pumped it's wings properly and been knocked out of the canopy or it has been damaged in some way as it's very unusual to see it on the ground.

Our native elms are a real pain to ID correctly. Firstly, the species show a lot of natural variation and then add to that they're a promiscuous bunch and hybridise easily. In short, it's an elm and I dunno which one

Errr.. You seem to be minus a link. I've been to talks on all of those systems, other than the CTLA, and worked with CAVAT. It will be interesting to see them directly compared - and contrasted - with each other at the one seminar. For anyone involved in tree management or working for LAs, I think that will be a very worthwhile day. I've added the days into the AT calendar, so there's no excuse for forgetting these dates now. -
