    Coal

I'm nearly sorted out my storage problems and ready to start getting wood bought in. I'm also thinking about the idea of selling coal in bags can any one point me in the direction of where to get them in bulk and what price you guys are charging?
  2. you would suppose you would class them like any other road going vehicle, thats what i would do, regardess if you had a grtting box on the back or a plow on the front.
  3. I found yellows were ok till you met full beam lights. i use to wear them on the motorbike but stop because of this. if your sight seems to be fine it may just be tiredness and you are stugling to change focus.
  4. Nice thought. Really interested now on making the quad work a little harder so will seriously look into salting and other possibilities. Why dont you charge set rates on paths or roads per 500m road and 50m paths with this set a min call out.
  5. This is what i have found £1000 +VAT lets pray for snow lol.
  6. May have to jack that idea. quad has been made redundant latly so this will earn it i's keep.

  8. LOL perfect place to say what i saw today. Man in blue knackered transit working of a ladder no ppe ropes ect trying to recrown the tree with a hand saw (and not a silky lol). Then every five mins he would trot down the ladder to feed brash into chipper straight into pile by the house not so bad but his customer left his window open. How can we compete with this.
  9. gota say love the blakes hitch, nice and simple and never let me down/
  10. I run two 1m and 1.5m, thinking of getting multi saver but would really love a lockjack. my 1m runs oval mallion and is far more usable but both really good and both from HB
  11. never thought of this, but will the prussick hold? ok it will only slip down to the loops but no one wants brown trousers lol.
  12. I see there’s a lot of debate here, when I first looked I wondered why we couldn’t multiply our answers, in my answer I would tick all as I believe mainly natural is to blame (btw were still coming out of an ice age (not the film lol)) but the time is accelerated by humans and yes it will have a negative effect on native British trees but what about introducing other species to our lands to accommodate the change. We will never be able to stop or slow this now so we should do what we can to accommodate it and except that nature can wipe us out in an instance if it feels necessary to its survival. Finally, It took the UK 150 years to come out of the type of industrial revolution that we are expecting China to come out of in 10 years and we as a nation have been constantly introducing non native species to out lands since the Roman times and (minus the chavs) we have done pretty well as a nation and have some of the most dramatic scenery the world has to offer so why not instead of fighting the change except it and embrace it as we always have. NB my apologies for poor spelling, ranting and miss representation of facts with my own opinion as with all my writings I end with E&OE

  18. yes you have to charge VAT on it (pending bought for business). your accountant should of claimed the VAT back on it when you got VAT reg as the can go back a few years and if for business use solely they should of 100% deducted it. no probs just sell to fellow businessmen.
  19. why dont you persuade your boss to let you have some lol
