  6. My local outdoor equipment shop have their own hotknife and said i can use it to re-size my ropes when ever may be worth looking at local suppliers and asking favors.
  7. 45m rope is a good all-rounder, as for harness it's all down to preference, personly I have two harness austria duo and skylotec and prefere the latter every time. kraps are always usful and learn to make prusik they are quite easy. would reccomend geting few petzl caritools and a cambium saver will keep rope in good order. If possible try before you buy and get to know what you like as we are all different and like different things, also try different friction knots till you find the one that best suits your climbing style.
  8. And we wonder why we are being so drasticly under cut on price these days. What are us moral people to do with our seeming pointless tickets, insurance, waste carriers licence, yards, insured and taxed vehicles and a sense of self preservation.

    Coal

I thought the coal trade was a bit cloak and daggers but will have to ring a load of merchantes and try and make a couple of quid here and there till it picks up. In my experience it is nver worth it as something will always go wrong.

Another firewood supplier has already gone for it but my client doesent like him so opens the way for me. I will hit google and see what i can find. like the idea of own lables maybe i could buy some in lableless bags and slap a lable before sale.

    Coal

LOL thanks mate. One of my biggest firewood customers also uses coal and the guy who supplies him is retiring so he asked me if i would sell it to him. My firewood cant be that bad he's had a load every week for the past 18 months. Be silly not to look into this more.
