  4. I had a lad cut his hand up cus he got the blade caught on the sheath ended up running his hand down it there was alot of blood we all had a good laugh.

  6. True, we all have responsability to use out resources corectly.
  7. yes, managed by big companies to make a much return as possible for clients to justify their costs....makes sense but could be run to better standards. eg 60 acres af mixed ash birch and oak, 1 acres a year clearaged and re-planting 60 year cycle, will keep a small family business runing till the end of time and what a family heritage to be a part of.

    ha ha i was not even close, worse thing is i'm sat here looking at 660 with 36 and still couldnt relate. will have to trey 18 but find it uses so much fuel comphared to my smaller saws and never used 441.

  11. be interested in reply, so low if justified as biased. In my opinion TW i use excelent, vn use an old entec which holds it's own but cant say on g'mech as not used.

  16. Yeh I won it for £530 bargin!!! emailed the guy to explain faults with what he had put up in description and lack of it being legal.

    Yes i did also advise customer of regrowth and what effect it would have and told her she should book me now as would have to be back next year to do the same again. Yeh defo going with ladder idea and get the silky out.

    lol, did reccomend felling of the two of them as one has rendered use of the owners garage usless and cherry picker would of been suitable for easy acces to the two trees but the owner aparently doesnt get on with him, what have i let myself into.

    May be an option with handsaws but risk damaging to many braches when setting it up. got eyes on stepladder or towers.

    tempted to monkey up there as well but worried may cause some damge to smaller branches maybe laddder up then tie in if possible but dont wanna look like a pikey,

    Hi people, Small job 3 eucalyptus all need reducing about 30% and all no more than 20ft high and 4" diamater so climbing is not an option and can't use ladders third problem is that there is an electric wire (insulated though) running within 2ft of two of the trees so bit reluctant to use mewp. Any ideas welcome.
  24. ha ha, nothing against speeders, they know what they are letting themselfs into but selling a dangerous piece of kit to joe blog to make a quick buck is just wrong.
