  4. This is what works for me; fresh ash, seasoned birch, seasoned beech, well seasoned oak, in that order keeps customers happy and a good supply all season and if your in the trade never deal with elm (we're a very suppositious bunch).
  5. I'm with HSBC moved from lloydstsb because they took no tax payers money (shows they are trying to be a business), but would reccomend them for other reasons like little personal touches as been said before in thread I have no overdraft never wanted one so cant comment on these charges they implement but always good business to keep a good float.
  6. Hi peoples, thinking of buying a vehicle for transporting quad and delivering firewood thought of 2004 DAIHATSU HIJET 1.3 Big Deck, just wondered what people thought of them and what the bed size is and how eccomomical they are>? any thoughts and comments will be very usful to me. Thanks SSTS

  10. Completely agree with steve, when went VAT it was the best thing for fire wood like he says at 15% to 5% you cant loose. also only equates to a couple of quid on a load of wood so it wont really effect your price, especially if your buying a proccessor and truck will more than overwiegh what you pay back for a number of years.
  11. I'll do patches for £199.99+ 1p postage.
  12. got a few spare patches kicking arround if the price is right.
