  8. Hey matey, His number is 07812157668 (bob) his company is exmoor tree works. I'm sure he'll be able to help you out or know someone who can. what is the job up there doing. If you have some corded hardwood available i'll be interested in it.
  9. Something to look forward to in the future i think, but would solve alot of my smaller problems, just have to wait for the job to come in that would warrant/pay for it.
  10. Now that would be a handy piece of kit, whats one of them going to set me back?
  11. I saw there was high cuts on a few and had a wonder up there there was wire in all of it, so what you going to do? I do agree with poor pratice though with work force but he has one good climber on board and the work he has done is of good standard but maybe cant say much for other guys but cant really comment. The work looked overall os an improvement but your guy is more qualified to say than me.
  12. I think i have his number somewhere, busy with western power atm but would be nice to see his work. If your down this way the road beteen minehead and porlock has been cleaned up by phil farmer and has done an excelent job.
  13. I worked with him many years ago (bar work lol). I dont know much about his work as we work in different fields. Between here and porlock we have a good selection of tree surgeons which is supprising that there is enough work around for all of us. I was thinking of rob when he mentioned tracked chipper. I feel the same about trees in west somerset I cant look anymore without thinking how would be best way to dismantle it lol.
  14. Hey rog, is that rob mulice? Did you get my pm (rog). Is it the minehead railway you guys work on? be cool to see you lot working some time, that kinda work apeals to me.
  15. I know a landscaper in high wycombe, I'll put the word out. He generally gets asked to buy chhainsaws in his local (always regects though).
  16. The dumper had earth in it before i used it was a nightmare driving it on the road, lucky had my stein safety glasses or would of been blind lol. After using it, I thought of getting one and replacing the bucket with something more managable for cordwood, we'll see though. I also founf the chainsaw sat nicely in he footwell.
  17. Hey matey where you based and where is Job in Minehead may know someone who can help.
  18. couldn't reverse as there was a really steep incline on way up the track would of lost the load.
  19. I managed to do the standing up thing intil i got a bit optimistic then couldn't see over the top. Yes I use eagle plant alot, got all my saws of them and got 3.5 dumper for £40 for day and a half (plus fuel), I think they are able to get climbing kit aswell but I prefere to use Radmoor and tucker in exeter.
  20. It would of been handy, had to have somebody (wifey) to shout to me where to go, but she only told me when I was about to hit something.
  21. Thats the funniest thing i've read all week.
  22. You mean creatine made you last 16 seconds (5 more than me lol), I think you my be on to some thing with the physcological aspect and maybe coincidence though in-propper work out techniques.
  23. Hey dude, took me ages to work this out (maybe just a bit slow). Go to bottom of page (don't matter what your looking at) and click on 'user cp' then when it loads the button is on left hand side I think it says 'edit profile picture' then you can change it there. Hope this helps.
  24. I know what your saying the lack of space made me wonder what it would look like, picture makes me think I should have blue flashing lights on it just incase I need to get to a tight job in a hurry lol.
