  1. I have a slight problem, I've had to thin out about 20 acres of oak forest and access is a real problem. Got everything down in nice stacks but the tricky bit is removal; there is about 60 tons (give or take) so have ruled out quad as will take to long to do and trailer is not an option. What i'm thinking of is getting a 3t dumper truck in to do the job and looking for anyones opinion as to practicality of using one or any other options. Thanks.
  2. I tried on a skylotec with buckles on the harness but they wouldn't work so i gave up in the end and went with kolibri.
  3. You only offering it on ebay? I'll await the pictures
  4. Just gone on web site and ordered me a copy.

  8. PAYE, I think people should charge what they think there worth, I do the same pricing up jobs I charge what I think the company is worth and if i'm not the cheapest then I usually get the call any way just a few weeks later to tidy up the mess.

    do you shoot?

Yes, been shooting all my life> it seems that most climbers are bikers and shooters, mabe there is a mental block tree climbers are born with that prevents us from thinking rationally from an early age.
  12. I pay over £120 a day for my top climber but i think he's worth it, you pay peanuts you get monkeys.
  13. I have to say I have a pair of high flex and advance a, and 90% is spent in my type a as i find them much safer to work in when big climbs are in call only bring out my type c's for comercial work.
  14. Just got one and have to agree with everyone that they are the mustard, been through a few in my time and chose this one over the petzl and think i made the right choice.
  15. I have to agree with Monkeyd not wearing simple ppe (suitable helmet with chin strap) is just mental, If i hadn;t worn such kit when i was training i prob wont be here today.
  16. Yeh not a bad budget, but dont let it run away spent 1200 squid on last climbing kit and still adding, best thing is to try a few on and get a personal preference on harneses rope is always good but best to get from arb shop rather than rock climbing shop as is better designed for what we do. as Jonsie is here can you pm me on a price for ms200t some climbing spikes and metal lanyard, Thanks.

Yes I know what your saying, the pure manly factor alone is worth the extra weight but my 660 is still a real mans play thing plus it's an every day saw.
