  1. It should self tend so you want it lower down Sent from my GT-I9300T using Tapatalk 2
  2. The kernmaster gets on well with ascenders, it is however a little bouncy for a kernmantle line but not enough that it bothers me, it feels pretty nice in the hand and is fairly easy to tie knots in. Sent from my GT-I9300T using Tapatalk 2
  3. It's a redgum, great tree good fun the video almost doesn't do the size of it justice. Sent from my GT-I9300T using Tapatalk 2

  9. If your half way down the tree going back up to attach the throwline is a pain in the backside, catching it with a throwline or the tail of your line line is alot easier, can use the access line to retrieve it all or if your using a rigging line just over a fork it does the same thing. 14. I know guys with 10mm ap access lines aus$1000 for 100 meters expensive but boy is it good!
  15. Get the long pulleysaver the extra length can come in handy when dealing with large diameter stems whilst doing removals
  16. 15 thats small wait till you see a 18 or a 22 inch tow behind, no more logging up!
  17. i will take some photos tomorrow if you want Ian?
  18. I have used it on Poison ivy which is the same thickness its is difficult but takes abit of convincing maybe supergluing some throwline to the end of the slic pin.
  19. Its pretty tight Ian but you can roll it in takes a bit of pinching and twisting but can be done what diameter of rope are you suing?
  20. I used a rope bridge on my sequoia and found that the indents where the screws are sunk on the gold rings dug in and started to cut into the rope, i ended up using dyneema loop with the cover of poison ivy over the top of it, just remeber that all you weight is on the fishermans rather than 25% each like when it is used as friction chord so adjust the length of the tails appropriately. And also OP degrades in uv, and bear in mind that it isn't designed having a small bend radius ran along it back to forth.
  21. No but it is a good thing to do, we are implementing more aerial rescue practice at my work which i think is a good idea, glad you got on okay.
  22. I have used the larger makita saws and have been pretty impressed by them havent used the top handled saw though.
  23. I found that for really sappy dried on gunk a bit of spit works well as your saliva breaks down organic material.
