  1. If you are 100kg and you base anchor you will have 200kg force on your anchor point, because in order to hold You at 100kg there needs to be the same force on the other side of the rope. Thether length is about 12-10 inches is best a stiff thether is a must and don't use a two krab set up it generates to much slop Sent from my GT-I9300T using Tapatalk 2
  2. The trick with the pulleysaver is to roll the rope into the clip I managed to install 13mm it isn't as easy as 11mm but its do able. Sent from my GT-I9300T using Tapatalk 2
  3. Zizag cannot be used srt on its own and petzl state its only for Ddrt.

  7. I'm not saying don't use dynamic lanyard just be aware that it's not heat resistant, and to be more aware of the danger of running ropes going near it, it's fine to use a rope lanyard but people still cut it or knick it because accidents happen. Sent from my GT-I9300T using Tapatalk 2
  8. No harm in throwing in more than once to get the line through a redirect and dragging your climb line through in order to give you a more open ascent Sent from my GT-I9300T using Tapatalk 2
  9. Well unfortunatly sh##t happens, I would rather have 10mm armor pruss over a dynamic lanyard if i was in that situation, better to know the limitations of your equipment than for someone to hurt themselves.
  10. Double the length from the middle to the end.
  11. Better size of the last one..........or not
  12. Here are my top three pics of 2012; Pruning a 60m mountain ash Ascending up a 70+m mountain ash Stretching out for the plumbpub at the VTCC
  13. Dynamic isnt heat resistant, so be careful with lowering lines running over your lanyards
  14. A petzl jane strop is dynamic and stitched eyed not sure what mm they are though, i use 10mm friction chord spliced at both ends.
  15. I have been lacking on instagram since i cant take photos on my phone anymore, interesting to see how the Americans go about work.
  16. Is this that firm4x4 by Adam?
  17. A company in Brisbane does it, and it's pretty successful. Sent from my GT-I9300T using Tapatalk 2
  18. Hey we have the same kit! Just dont get why people moan about kit bags i mean if you treat it well it will last if you jam it full beyond what it can hold then throw it around of course its not going to last i trashed a husky bag as i treated it badly in hindsight. I have a Dmm rope bag thats ripped as i dropped a log onto it not the bags fault my any means
  19. Dont know what your planning on putting in the pockets but can't see how some friction cord and slings could break them Sent from my GT-I9300T using Tapatalk 2
  20. Wouldn't say it's identical the way the bag works looks complelty different. Sent from my GT-I9300T using Tapatalk 2
  21. No and no im afraid they have a contact page on the site.
  22. descriptif sac Cross - Descriptif Looks pretty slick.
  23. Yeah its stupid, thats why yale have brought out the new 9 mm thats the similar pattern and construction as the 8mm.
  24. People have tested it but it's what Yale recommends, the new 9mm has a high mod core so it's not splice able with a class 1. The 10mm with the black and yellow/red fleck is pretty much a complete different rope, polyester core so that's class1 . Yale haven't made it easy for people haha Sent from my GT-I9300T using Tapatalk 2
