  1. That's interesting. I know of a huge beech and the owners weren't sure what to do if it was milled.
  2. Take them back, get a refund and go get the others . I have worked in ear muffs since I was 15, I never realised how peacefully it was until I stop cutting as much. My concentration gets pulled everywhere if I am at the yard or doing not noisy work. So I stick on the earmuffs, turn on the radio and it's like a switch, I just relax. I only usually listen to music in a vehicle. I cut grass about 20 hrs a week, it's great! You can link your phone aswell to them if you wish:) Rich had them on his helmet, a bit of DIY, job done!!
  3. Fantastic ! I just replaced my batteries after 12 months and I use them close to all day everyday !
  4. I hate work eating into family time, what your doing is right Rupe. An IPad on your Lap while the boys are doing the tidy or the lifting is the way to go. Up early, no chance!!
  5. Just imagine Jons voice as a Ronnie Barker version of Worzel Gummage, then it's easy peasy:)
  6. Belts and filters from Dingbro. Anvils, why? Just a feeling or they are goosed? I got blades from Saturn, half the price, I don't know which are which now tbh.
  7. They pay for the wi fi service not me. I am there to work, when the works done, I go home.
  8. I now have pancake lodged in my nose, nearly crying reading that
  9. Saves taking out a golden eagle chick with a big shot!!

  11. There are bad drivers out there, nowt to do with what lane your in. Indicate, get by them, problem solved!
  12. Wow now that's awesome!! Makes mine seem tiny !!
  13. Your sites too wet for brambles Diff!!! Good job Andy!
  14. If you want to knock lumps out a big beech or oak, don't bother! For light pruning it's great, very fast! I re coppiced 12 year old hardwoods averaging 4-8" for a day and a half on a single charge. No fumes, no noise and no grief from residents or nieghbours. It has it's place.
  15. We call her the Snoz!! Due to her sniffy long nose!! She might have dimensia, but when it comes to food, and vermin, she's like a teenager!!
  16. I have 1, it's great for light work.
  17. You can claim back 4 years vat assets, and your situation sounds perfect for being registered! Claim 20%, charge 5%! Very simple process, call your local Vat office and they will keep you right(
  18. Since joining this forum nearly 5 years ago, there has been a lot of tree related deaths across the country from young lads to seasoned cutters all with family, friends and colleagues on here! Think before you post please!
  19. I see a deck chair, a broom handle, a bunjee and your baby carrier!! Genius
