  1. I like that, it looks like an Amadillo:biggrin:
  2. Hope your other toes are ok Robert:lol:
  3. You have no idea why this went the way it was, the resentment in you will obviously pick the most unjust way against you. Maybe she fell I'll, maybe her grand daughter came to visit and brought her bored tree surgeon boy friend, who thought " sweet ill fell the trees rather than be bored out my head indoors " Learn from it and move on.
  4. No tree should do that to gaffs imo, I've climbed lightning damaged trees and they weren't any harder than ded elms. I would send them to the manufacturers to inspect.
  5. This will end badly unless you draw up a contract, even then I still think it will go sour. You are now in competition with him. What if he is thinking you won't take his work since he used to employ you, or because you dump chip. Dumping chip and logs is no biggy, they are both worth money and yoummust know some local sites and assuming you can use his kit when yours is broken isn't a wise idea.
  6. Top handle, 026,046,088
  7. Is it definitely in 1000 speed? My old Mogs rev counter didn't work, I just did it by ear. Once the new bigger engine was fitted it was a diferent machine. Keep an eye out for a bigger newer engine would be my advice.
  8. Vw everytime!
  9. That's a big haul, sorry to hear.
  10. I get itchy feet, that's the first sign!
  11. Did you Have a crane out of shot ? That's good going getting that done. Rigging big lumps is not for me, I don't have the bottle for it. I slice n shove!!
  12. I didn't take you as the sensitive type:001_rolleyes: You were there, we are just looking at a screen. To us it's a felled tree in a big patch of grass. Not that we don't believe you and we know you are good at your job:thumbup1: The rules are unassisted ( Mike is very picky about this) and there needs to be something to miss:lol:
  13. That's impressive Josh !
  14. I think it would of been harder to hit the T:lol:
  15. Looks a bit dodgy indeed, any chance of getting machines to it?
  16. Rob I liked that, Weedee I nearly woke the wife lol
  17. I watch from about half a mile away, fireworks displays terrify me.
  18. What are You wanting to gain from your spend? Make more money, make life easier, both ?
  19. I forgot you were a hippy coppicer:laugh1:
  20. I wasn't getting at anything, I didn't want to put up a link as I was curious to see where it would pop up on the listings from your end by putting in the basics. Just look up my website and see what you think of it,if you like it then it gives you some ideas:001_smile:
  21. I bet you still have your non waterproof brick for a phone and your giant red diary:biggrin: Each to their own, my ways just better:laugh1:
  22. I'm bad for texting people at all times, it jumps into my head to I just send a text, it's up to them if they want to reply or look at it or take the hump!! Who doesn't have their phone within an arms length in this day and age?
  23. Have a look at my site, google my name and tree surgery and see where it pops up. The trouble with mine now is it doesn't work on iPads , 5 years ago this wasn't an issue, but now it is. I'm going to change mine when I get round to it.
  24. You are the type of customer most will try and avoid, just others haven't learnt that yet:biggrin: I do 99% of my dealings with text or email, I find it far more efficient and takes very little time, once I'm on the phone I'm on it for ages :blushing:And I go off in tangents and end up having a chat, also with my iPhone I have all my info, so when it's on text or email, I can copy and paste into my notes and calendar. I forgot to call a customer this week because I answered the phone to him earlier in the week, hung up and then got distracted. I apologised, admitted it was my fault, he was very understanding as I've worked for him before:001_smile:
