My mate had the same problem, he walked up to the Perspex window, after a couple of minutes of wondering why the pump wasnt working, :confused1:then the tannoy with the older woman talking to him like a pleb ,:sneaky2:He held the can aloft and pointed to the kite mark shouting this can was £40!!!! It conforms with British Standards not like those crap wee cans you sell!! I would pay good money to see that CCTV of the forecourt:lol:

  5. Don't practice on a steep bank with wind blown beech! Don't work alone. Have clear communication between workers. Have you done your windblown course? Be very carefull!
  6. Have you tried all possibilities of hose swapping around?
  7. Get a micro chipper, sack the lad and never carry brash again, the chipper is never more than 5 m from the tree.
  8. I'll sned out brash for the chipper with a polesaw on a hot day wearing shorts rather than put on ballistics!!

  10. It's been a bumper crop with us for apples, and we are a similar weather pattern to you. Very dry and hardly any rain, the Rowan trees are buckling with berries aswell. Sorry cant offer any advice mate

I've had the Stihl pole saws since them came out, the first ones would wear out the roller bearings on the shaft after 6 months and were expensive to replace and fix, I've had the 4 Mix 1 now for about 4 years I think, it's never given me any bother and runs like new. I use the hedge cutter head on it a lot which adds much more stress to the shaft when extended, so there is a little twist or bend in it, but that's through the abuse I give it, and it's not made for that.
