  1. Cut Above are the main guys up there from what I've heard.
  2. Must of been Mr Tickle then
  3. It's your phone answering system that's at fault, not the customer.
  4. Pm Dean Lofthouse, he's local to there
  5. Ha ha ha, my wife didn't get the last 1, made it even funnier!
  6. I doubt there's any more than 3 tons in that pic!
  7. That's nuts! Great pics
  8. Looking forward to your next project of dismantling your log splitter and turning it into a lawnmower:001_rolleyes:
  9. That video didn't need the meat head music, it would of been better with some Mozart! Great rigging , the ground crew knew their stuff aswell! Trees don't get much worse than that!
  10. I think moisture would have a lit to do with it, like you say Rupe Rubble and clay may of helped. I find its more the area where the digger has tracked that causes root damage rather than build up of soil around the bowl.
  11. That's cracking!! Any idea of ££
  12. A good TP on Arbtrader, great price, great chipper.
  13. 7 years! I wasn't expecting that. Personally if I've never got for what I wanted, I went elsewhere that's just me:001_rolleyes: Have I regretted any of those desicions? Not a chance:biggrin:
  14. How long have you been climbing?
  15. So it's blame the boss time:001_rolleyes: I was an awesome grass cutter, then an awesome tree climber, I demanded more money from each employer, I ended up a naive , arrogant and cocky young boss of myself. New climbers are pre madonnas and want everyone to think they are awesome because a few wee old ladies said they were If you want more money, ask! If you don't get it, go and prove to yourself and the world that you are, it's easy with a bit of hard work:001_smile:
  16. As Huck says, make money! That's what the bottom line.
  17. Welcome, do you have a name? Steve the forum owner is doing a great deal on advertising you firewood business on here, it's free with a free hoodie. Look through the firewood forum and you will find the thread. Look forward to seeing some pictures of some kit, we love pics here:biggrin:
  18. An awesome grass cutter will earn his boss more than an average climber, it's all about what the individual is worth or what an employer can get away with paying.
  19. Loads of landscapers have bought chippers over the years , then some of the lads will do their climbing ticket . I'm sure if they are on the books there will be times they do a bit of everything. I run a tree surgery business and do grass cutting 2 days a week in the summer. I also pick litter and empty dog bins 3 mornings a week and grit in winter. my wage is the same all year round. Tomorrow I am gathering sheep on a farm.
  20. I'm still lying on the floor clutching my piggy bank:001_rolleyes:
  21. The pond could be full of these soapfish - Google Search
  22. That's very nice! How mucho?
  23. I don't know what a vapour trap,is, but without vents that's going to sweat and rot very quickly, for making a kiln you will need some kind of moisture extractor gizmo so shouldn't be a bother.
  24. Make sure they are vented. They look good
  25. That's a very good price, my best 1 was second hand, in lined £1600 plus vat then it was £350p v delivery and that was a good deal I thought. New they were £2k p v easy. They are a great investment, I bought my first 1 13 years ago for a grand, it's as food as the day I got it:001_smile:
