    I've done a fair few miles in a 16 reg 3.0 D4D auto. I'd prefer a manual as the auto feels disconnected but the mpg is good on a run at circa 30mpg. Certainly comfortable; the 3.0 is better than the 2.5 in every way, mpg included.

    That is construction phase obviously; pre grab tube etc.. Got a 600L one and a 400L with space in between for 25L oil drums.
