  1. Does anyone know if you can barbecue peacock?
  2. And so... Last winter was the wettest, dullest on record blah blah blah... Now it's almost mid July and it should be beautiful... With the exception of perhaps 21 days dry and bright since said winter, it remains simply horrendous. It's 9th July, waxing moon (generally higher pressure) and it's damp, misty - just like January. So utterly sick of it. So depressing.
  3. As per title, check you inbox asap!
  4. When I heard that news report and video of the cops yesterday, it is blatantly clear that these cops have a major problem. It's beyond paranoia. It defies any sensible weapon discipline too. Five plus rounds into someone cooperating and reaching for ID. I almost felt I couldn't blame the retaliations this morning; no excuse I know. I hadn't paid loads of attention to this issue but those shootings yesterday, makes me rage.
  5. Similar some years ago: A friends Dad and it was £600 to trim a shrub the size of a wheely bin.
  6. No freakin' way! VERY well done my man!
  7. Can't stand the man. Never have. 24 carat cock.
  8. 10' good length. Avoid the infamous but now stupid 2.2/.3/.4 nonsense. 2.1 if the buyer asks but otherwise 3.1/10' +. You're forwarding it, you choose I'd say!
  9. They can't tell you what the weather was yesterday let alone next winter mate. It will be another wash out and warm. Tbh, I think firewood has had it.
  10. This. I've just sent a stroppy email to them. Honestly! What's gone wrong?! They've submitted all previous by interpreting the spreadsheet correctly but it would seem the top man in the firm isn't IT literate. First he submits the figures from a year ago, then says this years last qtr only had 3 figures on which isn't acceptable. He's looking at the 2013 tab with rough calcs on pre vat reg. Give me strength. The freaking 03-05/16 tab is right there you DUMBASS! Then he has the cheek to suggest I didn't email the sheet through promptly enough - 6th June! They had all the time until the submission deadline to call me for clarification. What utter incompetence.
  11. Question to Dave177: Does you manual state to check the transmission oil level WITH the engine running at a given rpm? Thanks.
  12. Here you go; I found the Chapelhall pics: Chapelhall_Lot_02_pic1.pdf Chapelhall_Lot_02_pic2.pdf Chapelhall_Lot_02_pic3.pdf Chapelhall_Lot_02_pic4.pdf Chall_tender_lot2_pic5.pdf
  13. Spoke with the senior partner in the firm today. Admitted fault but no apology (the two are not the same imo). He said he misread the table but then referred to another one with insufficient data. I just checked the spreadsheet I sent and now he's getting confused with 2013. What utter pillocks. :banghead:
  14. No, as per my OP, the figure is tens of thousands WRONG!
  15. So my accountant has filed the figures from VAT quarter March-May 2015 instead of 2016 because they clicked on the wrong tab on the excel spreadsheet.... Dumbasses! The £27k difference doesn't bother me at all! Accountant away on holiday, how convenient. Any advice? Cheers.
  16. These now sold sorry - just texted back. Are your joysticks the "skull cap" ones? If so Simon @ FCA knows how to sort them - there was an article in FCA or FJ recently in fact.
  17. No PM rx yet. I know of some very tidy bruunett tracks around; all for 500's tho I think. I've just text the fella about the one set (pictured). You'll need to move the bolsters as I did - see previous pics in this thread; unless the extra 6" clearance of a 678 negates this - dunno. Must be 600 tracks all over the place - more than enough grousers for a Bruun too.
  18. I have a pair of 600 chains (60%) for 22.5 wheel... Sods law if I sell em I'll need them! I'm not convinced chains are the right thing for deep mud tho? Let me know via PM if you want em...
  19. Once upon a time, there were lots of people who were fed up with Stihl and Husqvarna machines. The good old days are over they cried. But then came a beautiful sound over the hills, the sound of an Echo. The people were astounded at the Echo: it was sweet, smooth and serene. So the people took to the Echo and they all lived happily ever after. The End.
  20. Same. Since '95
  21. Deffo go for the TP. Love em. Used most chippers.
