  1. Due to the agent we've been working for packing it in, I'm looking for timber contracting work after our current job. Just putting the feelers out. Thanks.
  2. Might be able to sort you out... Leave it with me, will check this week.
  3. [ame] [/ame]
  4. Haha just muckin aboot
  5. HUSKY = Horrible Utter Sh... Kills You
  6. I'm 99.9% sure the answer is NOPE! Just seem to stumble from one curse to another. If it's not health problems it's breakdowns. If it's not breakdowns it's contracts being cancelled. If not that, it's diesel tanks being stolen. If not that, volume disputes. If not that, someone's sneaked the "little bit of hardwood" that you've cut, told the estate you've cut with photos to prove, now have to explain why you didn't take it all WTF. If not that, the ticket show the wrong species at the wrong price. If not that, your accountant buggers up your vat return. If none of these, it's raining.
  7. Ditto.
  8. Ridiculous. All singing all dancing more tickets than a ticket-shop outfit. Can't even fell or judge how to pull a tree like that. I make no apology whatsoever for these comments. FISA mentality / mockery of inexperience. Everything about that procedure was STUPID. " ******** tree experts" !!!
  9. They say the CS-620 is a mini 461 anyway. 460/461 is one saw that Stihl got nigh on perfect.
  10. There is a tidy 1070 for sale at the moment... Should be around the same money.
  11. TJ 810 is a forwarder; do you mean 870? (4 wheel).
  12. For the £ being asked a TJ 1070 would be a better bet.
  13. Well Phil Cooper will be your dealer for parts etc. I know the machine you're on about; needs to be £10k lower really. Damn good head on it tho. I assume you've seen that 8 wheel Logset too? What size wood do you want to cutting in the main? If you have a saw man with you to cut off first lengths you could consider a thinnings size machine. I'm a Timberjack man myself.
  14. Second that.
  15. With a Lako head by any chance?!
  16. Or prefabricated exte ones from Clarks....
  17. Like this beauty. NEW 18 " TSUMURA LIGHT CHAINSAW BAR FITS STIHL .063 3/8THS MS261 026 036 MS362 | eBay
  18. This. Crike that's the second time we've agreed this year
  19. Waipoua I think, with classic lol commentary at the end. Been searching all the terms I can think of i.e lake/dynamite/new Zealand/waipoua etc still can't find it. What am I doing wrong?!
  20. Yes and yes. Head gasket in particular late '04-06
  21. If it's been sat in a field - corrosion. Other things: Steering box (seals). Brake lines at rear. Crank pulley. Gearbox torque mounting. Prop support doughnut. Neglected UJ greasing. Hopefully yours might be pre egr. I've had both and the 1998 goes way better than the 2004.
  22. Won't euroF snap it up? Less £ sure but I just factor worst case £ in and then atleast the wood will move...? But I know what you mean, it's not good in timber currently. Atleast your kit is bought and paid for. Longing for that day myself, rather than just working for the bank. That makes for sleepless nights I can tell you.
