  1. Got a new Churchill fiver? Check the serial number for AA01 | This is Money Now fetching over £3k!
  2. Firewood is not my main business. Margins are crap anyway.
  3. I get that but there's a pic of what looks like a pine pole going in the chipper; I'm guessing it was to demo the chipper? Just wondered why it didn't go in the heap with the other timber. I just got asked to do a thousand ton at 4m/13'. Lovely for forwarding but can't quite get 2 bays on an 8 wheeler. MC = mixed conifer, usually chip aka firewood / biomass.
  4. Why are you chipping roundwood pulp? (I'll avoid using the term chip as I think it will confuse some on here). The rest of the small stack looks like MC chip so
  5. This. Got plenty softwood if you want it. Dry as a chip.
  6. No comparison! Nothing touches a Mac 125
  7. As per: Best Built Longest Lasting Gas Powered Outdoor Power Equipment | [ame] [/ame] Anyone?! Thanks.
  8. Pete Teagle near you (Josh) went from 560xp to PS6100. Reckon he's more than pleased with the change. Understatement.
  9. Haha. Nice pic; another XUD man in the place?
  10. This was yesterday. (can't rotate pic sorry).
  11. I have the clark one for harvester bars. It works. The bar is never the same again tho imo.
  12. Can't find one anywhere; Like this but doesn't have to be the light version: TSUMURA 24 MOUNT LIGHT LIGHTWEIGHT CHAINSAW BAR FITS STIHL 036 MS362 044 046 | eBay
  13. How long 'til matey arrives?!
  14. Farrell or Farron?
  15. Is that the old one with the grey engine cowling? I had two of those; absolutely brilliant machines, 24cc from memory. So light as well, with a foam tube instead of a handle. So light you could stretch out one handed. Would still have them if some tosser hadnt nicked them from my old yard.
  16. So you're getting a new one? Sorry, just seen advert.
  17. I've only tried the .404 for 10 minutes. Like I say, 10 minutes.
  18. There are sharp edges all over that saw. The thing that goes round the guide bar on it has the worst, there are loads of them and they really hurt.
  19. What grease tho? Not pin and bush I hope?!
  20. Best post I've read all year Lol, well that p1553d on someone's bonfire. I could have inputted some Yama/Kioritz data but it's like banging your head on a brick wall.
  21. Now that is a very good point as I'm buying another tractor to go off winching so the 2130 can stay on the firewood. That beaten up old John Deere has done me proud; he just seems to enjoy working, bless him.
  22. Old 2130 tractor, old Japa 700. £3-4k tied up in that. Can do 12 loads a day with a 2 vehicle delivery system. Bugger all this massive money, grant funded paraphernalia, you'll do a bit more wood but won't be any better off. Same with harvesting, big numbers, big headaches.
  23. That is frankly very odd. Can you post some pics - I've got a theory brewing...
