    I get that but there's a pic of what looks like a pine pole going in the chipper; I'm guessing it was to demo the chipper? Just wondered why it didn't go in the heap with the other timber. I just got asked to do a thousand ton at 4m/13'. Lovely for forwarding but can't quite get 2 bays on an 8 wheeler. MC = mixed conifer, usually chip aka firewood / biomass.

    I have the clark one for harvester bars. It works. The bar is never the same again tho imo.

    Is that the old one with the grey engine cowling? I had two of those; absolutely brilliant machines, 24cc from memory. So light as well, with a foam tube instead of a handle. So light you could stretch out one handed. Would still have them if some tosser hadnt nicked them from my old yard.

    There are sharp edges all over that saw. The thing that goes round the guide bar on it has the worst, there are loads of them and they really hurt.

    Now that is a very good point as I'm buying another tractor to go off winching so the 2130 can stay on the firewood. That beaten up old John Deere has done me proud; he just seems to enjoy working, bless him.

    Old 2130 tractor, old Japa 700. £3-4k tied up in that. Can do 12 loads a day with a 2 vehicle delivery system. Bugger all this massive money, grant funded paraphernalia, you'll do a bit more wood but won't be any better off. Same with harvesting, big numbers, big headaches.
