  10. Glad to see the weathers picked up for you today mate! I love that mog of yours too mate:001_tt1:Wish my boss would shake his feathers and by me one! haha. Nice work by the way
  11. Awesome vid as always Reg! Loved how you rigged whole limbs of that size in one! well done to the ground staff too.
  12. Does anyone sell those black rubber band type things that slide on your krabs?
  13. Lime,Sycamore,Beech,Ash and many many different conifers! haha
  14. Haha wondered how long it would take for someone to notice:001_tongue: Its qutie funny because we,ve only recently had a big overhaul of our first aid and aerial rescue training. We now try and go through rescue scenarios once a month if poss. never had an accident before...well not one that required hospital attention anyway! Maybe we should stop trainin:001_tongue: Cheers for all the comments by the way and dont worry the groundie will be rewarded ive already given him a nice shiny new rope! What really amazed me is just how fast things can go wrong! This was only a minor incedent but i think we all get a bit complacent at times and things like this soon wake you up! Stay safe out there folks and keep them groundys well trained.
  15. Did my trailer test not long back and like Mozza said it was over two days and is quite easy. Dont think it costs a great deal especially if it sets you up for future employment IMO.

    Ooops!

Managed to do this to my self today. I was out on the end of a branch when the branch i was standing on snapped and as i fell into the fork the saw swung into my hand which was attatched to the side of my harness. Got to say i was amazed how much blood there was! anyway off to A+E and 4 stitches and some sticky strips and i was back at work. What really impressed me though was that my groundie was brilliant!! he only passed his cs38/39 on friday and was dealing with this today! We always put an extra line in on big trees and as soon as i said id cut myself badly hed got the first aid ready got his harness on just incase and had also got the hospital on the phone just incase. Once id gone to hospital he sorted the site out and got all my gear out the tree and hes only 19!!
  17. that will look brilliant mate!

  20. One of our 200ts has leaked since new! not alot like so cant really be bothered to find the cause! haha. On theother hand the other one doesn't leak at all! Im guessing this is no help at all!! haha
  21. I use a vt on a hitchclimber and also use a lock jack. To be honest id say that i use the hitchclimber alot more than the lockjack, not really sure why ithink i just find that u can make alot more adjustments and fine tuning on a vt. The lockjack is a very good piece of kit though and is very smooth and quick when you get used to it. They can be a bit jumpy on wet ropes though. Ive had no issues with the cams either. Both of these work even better with a rope guide!!
  22. That looked like a big un there reg! nice work mate
