  1. Hi all im currently thinking of investing in one of the above slr's. Im torn which one to get:confused1:. was wondering if anyone on here has any experience with either of them? Went into the shop and the d90 seems slightly better built and feels a bit better in my hands. But im a total novice at photography and the d5000 seems slightly easier to use. Any info greatly appreciated. Also any tips on lenses would help alot as that just looks a minefield to me!!! Cheers all

  5. VT for me,very good hitch and very easy to customise. Seem to pick it over my lock jack most of the time!!
  6. Its a joke mate!! We've cut pretty much all the street trees down in this particular area now!! The LA has no plan to do any kind of replanting either:thumbdown:. There haed of highways was talking to me the other day trying to convince me that this 20 year old birch was fully mature now and has become dangerous and needs removing:confused1: These are the guys in charge!!!
  7. Had to fell and grind out these 7 lime trees for a LA. Apparently there being taken down because they've cracked the tarmac on the pavement:sneaky2:. Best thing is the street was called lime tree avenue!!...guess they'll just have to call it avenue now!!

  10. Not much experience with blackberry's but have used the iphone alot and its awesome!! Whatever you do network wise avoid orange and vodaphone at all costs!! O2 are the best network we've been with by far.

  13. Evening everyone was just wonderin if anybody on here was goin to Nod's splicing workshop on the 16th of november? Should be a very educational day been tryin to get on one since febuary!! haha
  14. I bought some meindl airstreams at the begining of this year and there bloody marvellous!! Can be a bit narrow though or some feet ive heard?
  15. Those mesh barriers are really good and we do use them alot!! Some of the places we have to grind though we pretty much have to incase the whole stump grinder so then its ply wood time haha. They dont look to pretty but they stop boulders flying through shop windows when were grinding in town centres haha

  18. 12" for us. You can cut some pretty big stuff with a 12" bar before you need a bigger saw
  19. Haha tell me about it! It was really busy today,everytime i went to take a picture there was either a dog,child or bloke walking through:sneaky2:. I'll deffinatly be goin again when i get the chance.

  22. Haha it sure is mate. Took me by surprise too. The trees round there are slightly different from the council estate trees i tend to work on!!
