Jack of all trades,master of none...thats me!!! haha. I think it was supposed to say trim all branches away from windows and shape. We often get things like this. Makes you wonder how they get there jobs. I know that these people apparently in the know get payed a hell of alot more than me!!

Never had my spikes LOLER'd. There not used for lifting or lowering so no need to have them checked IMO. Although if they were falling to bits id probably think twice before using them!! haha

Nice work tommy....rather you than me mate. Conifer hedges are alright apart from random sharp bits poking you in places that should never be poked!! haha

Been doin a few more this week. The one problem i sometimes get is on the crossover at the end. I end up with a slight lump in the crossover. Nod did show us how to rectify this problem at the workshop but id like to know what im doin wrong to prevent it to start with?

Glad to hear it mate. Ive got to go have an operation on my hands soon! Its my carpal tunnel apparently,keep dropping things and i cant even hold my drum sticks without gettin a blinding pain from my thumb down to my wrist!! Doctor says its a sign of things to come because it looks like ive got white finger too!! Im only bloody 26!! They did ask if there's anyway i can stop using chainsaws and climbing trees.....yeah right!!!

I have a ringin in my ears pretty much constantly!! It really sucks,mines due to playing drums in a heavy metal band though,i think?.....chainsaws probably dont help! haha

Yeah it is a bit on the excesive side!! You got a bargain with that one though mate. I think once im a bit more experienced with my splicing i might try and make one up myself:thumbup: One of the best things about them i think is when your blocking down. No need for bowlines and figure 8's,just tighten up to stem and away u go:thumbup1:

Yes mate,had mine for about 3 years now, I keep looking at the primus one,now that is expensive!!! Which one you got bud? Id love to hear some feedback on the primus if anyone's got one?

Have only used the ART ropeguide and yes it is bloody expesive! But if mine broke today id be ordering another tomorrow,probably my favourite piece of kit i have!!!
