She also cant understand why im screaming at the tv and threatning to drop kick it out the window:001_tongue:. If you get modern warfare then feel free to add me bud!! Can you play assassins online?

  10. Where was that from mate? Sounds good. Im looking at putting a srt kit together soon you see:thumbup:....more shiny bits!! haha. Do stretch air not do a checked shirt range steve:001_tongue:.....im with you though on the base layer and a t-shirt over it. Stretch air of course!! haha
  11. Nice one:thumbup1: How much was the rope if you dont mind me asking?
  12. So how is your new shiny cinch:001_tt2:
  13. Ditto what everyone else has said!! Big thanks to steve, the mods and for everyone else that puts there opinion and input into each thread!!!
  14. The best rope ive used the lockjack on is the new england tachyon. A very firm rope with very little stretch. If the rope needs milking though then the cam on the lockjack will bunch the outer sheath up and make the lockjack a bit jumpy! The elderid x-perience rope works well to as do the yale XTC. Personally though id go for the tachyon IMO. As has been said earlier be careful which krabs you use!!
  15. Depending where and when im up for it. Not sure how far north you usually have them? I live about an hour away from bob.
  16. Any particular reason you've gone back to the positioner mate? Ive never tried the positioner so cant really compare. I do love the cinch though and like john says it works great on dynamic ropes. I was talking to Nod who was sayin that there was a fair bit of testing done on which ropes to use with the cinch. The mammut supersafe was the best apparently?
  17. As long as you can hang them off your harness it dont matter how they work:001_tongue: Well if you need to get rid of some rope you can alwys send it my way! haha. I keep tryin different ropes in my cinch and the mammuts the best ive tried so far.
  18. The VT is a cracking hitch when you get it set just right:001_smile:. Im like a magpie when it comes to shiny gear,i want it even if i have no idea what to do with it:001_tongue: What rope are you running cinch on again? I use mammut supersafe on mine and it runs really sweet!
  19. I cut it too short and so it didn't fit right when i slid it back over the inner core:blushing:....ah well will try harder next time!! haha Cheers apbell, happy climbing with your shiny new cinch by the way:001_smile:
  20. Some stunning pictures there mate!!! really like the mist one. What camera do you use mate?
  21. Well other than eating, drinking and modern warfare2 ive managed to do a few more splices. The scorch was lovely to splice and is by far the easiest 16strand ive done. Im getting alot better at the double braid now...i think:001_tongue:. Not very impressed with my bee line attempt but practice makes perfect! haha. Cant wait to get back to work and start making some whoopies and loopies. Oh yeah and hopefully a new rope guide:thumbup1:. If anyone else has some splices they've done then feel free to get your pics up:thumbup:
  22. So thats where ive been going wrong!! haha. Well i managed to drink my own weight in olde english but still managed to play.....not saying what i played was right though!! haha. Happy new year bud hope its a good un:thumbup:
