The jobs at chatworth house if thats closer for people or our yards near junction 28 of the m1. The job is to dismantle 2 beech trees. Quite tall but not very wide. Cheers,Hadleigh

  7. Alright mate if you have no joy we've got a yard about twelve miles from bilsthorpe. Its in sutton in ashfield just off the a38. Can take as much as you need to get rid of.

  15. Cheers Monkey,it was an awesome place to go and see!! The only problem is its made me want to see more of them and i'd love to have the oppertunity one day to work with such wonders of nature! Dont really see many ancient pollards on my local council estates or on mrs Miggins back yard!! haha The Fistulina was on a Beech stump near the top pond i think? The hotel was nice and the food and service there was excellent:thumbup1:. Forgot to mention the other surprise my girfriend had for me!!..................she'd asked the owner of the hotel to cover the bed in haribo:biggrin:.
  16. For valentines day this year my girlfriend surprised me with a night at the monkey island hotel and then a day at burnham beeches:biggrin:. What an amazing place!! The trees were amazing. When walking round a place like that it shows just how resiliant trees are! Here's a few pics anyway:thumbup1: Oh yeah monkey if you ever need any free labour working in a place like that then give me a shout:001_tongue:
  17. We've been using the 16mm for a while and seems ok.
  18. Our company generally uses the showa therma ones but i really like the look of these. Is there any discount if you buy a box full? Dave my sealskins did the same! They were water tight when i first got them but let the wet in alot now....still toastie warm though.
  19. The blades do go dull a bit quick but i think they all do!! Although saying that they do some cutting. I wish id bought the 420 one,or well maybe next time.
  20. Awesome saw!!! I use it on take downs mostly and use the zubat on reductions and thinning jobs. The teeth on the sugoi can be a bit aggressive for small pruining jobs. Would dffinatley recommened them!!

  22. Here's a pic of my set up. I use a VT at the min but the best advice is try as many different ones as possible and see what suits you the best.
