  3. The non protective trousers are really nice!! There quite a long fit,i usually have the long leg in the strecth airs but the S.I.P's fit bang on!! The only problem ive got with them is the pockets are a really strange shape and you cant put your hands in right:sneaky2: Would deffinatley recommened them:thumbup1:
  4. Nice one bud. Promise i'll get the v's out for ya next time!! haha

  11. Sorry,i was like a heroin addict, shuffling about and twitching. I just had to get my fix,i just couldn't resist..................my god it felt good!!! Glad to see you back Dave,i hope you didn't feel you had to start posting again just to give me a telling off:biggrin:
  12. Only reason i was up and about today is i forgot we had today off and just got up as normal for work:sneaky2:. Thought id best make the best of it!! This Yew's only in Darley dale so not too far away!! Here's a plaque under it:
  13. Finally remembered to take my camera and get some pics of this magnificent tree!!!
  14. Nice honest vid there mate. I hate willows too!!! Very unpredictable.
  15. Nice work mate:thumbup1:. I do enjoy taking euc's down!!
  16. The crossover gets easier the newer the rope. It can be a nightmare on some old ropes!!! and whatever you do dont try and splice marlow geko or similar! There awful. Id highly recommened one of nods splicing workshops for anyone interested in splicing. Its a brilliant skill to have i think and very satisfying..................just dont get hooked like me and spend your sundays splicing about 20 odd lanyards up:blushing:
  17. Haha well done mate!! I still get slight lumps now and again. The next time i splice some 16 strand i'll take some pics of the fid and how it pulls through for you mate. Its great being able to splice your ropes up when they've been nicked with the spikes or the silky:blushing:. Its awesome when you can make your own ropeguides up too!!!
  18. Looking good Dean:thumbup1:. What your after mate is a splicing wand. To do the crossover though a fid works much better! Its made from piano wire. Needs to have no burrs what so ever though because its soooo easy to catch a strand. The guy to speak to about buying this stuff is nod at treeworker. Did you end up with a slight lump on the crossover when you'd finished?
  19. What you've got there mate is some brown stuff!!!
  20. The ropeguides an awesome piece of kit!!! Although ive now started making my own which is also awesome:001_tongue: Liked the look of the treeimagineers multisaver so made one of them too!!! Not tried it yet though.
  21. Live streaming of a reduction!!! I like the sound of that haha. I know what you mean about leaving them though mate. We've had quite a few where there only paying for one half or something stupid along those lines. I hate having to drive past thinking "if they weren't such tight wads i could of made a cracking job of that tree!!!"
  22. Got some of this at our yard. Ive got no idea on the construction. Will look tomorrow now though because im very curious!
  23. Sounds like youve got it bad mate:001_tongue:
  24. Lookin good mate:thumbup1:
  25. That was a really nice climb you did with us:thumbup1:. It wasn't a small tree either!!! Very impressed mate. Back on thread. How long you been doing this?
