  7. Hey bob do you splice your own climbing lines? If so what do you put on your LOLER records? I find this a very interesting thread,seems like a mine field though!! Off topic but im doin my LOLER assessers course with treevolution in march any comments on these guys?

  9. Speak to Nod at treeworker mate he'll sort you out:thumbup1:. Its not very expensive either only cost about £165. You'll learn alot mate nod is a very knowledgable bloke who knows what he's on about!!

Im with you there High scale,as far as im concerned as long as its fit for the job im doing then im gonna use it!! Im thinking of making my own rope guide soon. Wonder what the LOLER asser will say to that?

    I use mammut supersafe,i believe its 10.2mm. I have 10 metres of it stashed in a hip bag. I run it on a cinch and it runs really sweet. Got to admit it took a bit of gettin used to though.

  21. Yale bee-line and samson bail out,both 8mm. Out of the two i prefer the bailout.
