  5. Woo whooo, join the club. I spent two hours this afternoon re doing all the spade conector, checking the wires etc. Only to find out by a process of elimination that it was a slighty corroded negative terminal. Hairy buttocks
  6. From what i remember, shake is generated by: Soil and growing conditions Genetics (some trees are naturally more prone) Some shake is generated from the shear plane that allows the tree to flex without snapping. There is a couple of other reasons but my brain is mush at the moment.

  9. Evening Jon, i got all my chokers from speedy hire. They were one that could no long be used for lifting due to a change in the lifting regs. I got six chains and hooks for £20. Might be worth seeing if you have a local Speedy hire.

  13. Yes first wood is done, but you are going to have to wait until the fields have dried out before i start forwarding out. Will let you know.
  14. It is not as quick as the fancy bench ones, but when one is in the woods and some hidden barb decides to wreck ones chain. One can resharpen in under five minutes. Win win :thumbup:
  15. Yes i do to. I use two trailers depending on whats involved. 90 is much more manoverable than a 110.
  16. The fact that you can not really see it, shows that it has been done well.
