  1. Why? None of them really work anyway. If you bang a 60cc saw at full chat across your instep you will sever your foot. You need to learn not to do that.
  2. He’s been asked. The silence is deafening. He’s a thieving pikey cunt Mick. The show was rife with them, as was the APF. The shows used to be all about the trade stalls, there’s less and less who think it’s worth doing because of the thieving and extra security ag. Where does that leave the shows? It’s about time people started telling it how it is.
  3. Because I wasn’t born yesterday Mick.
  4. This lad seems to have changed his mind about his purchases without even trying them. From Treebay on FB.
  5. That spanner pocket is where I keep my dog shit bags. I take 2 labs to work with me, you need to be prepared.
  6. They don’t really. I normally empty my pockets if I’m working, certainly climbing.
  7. I think they will be very cool though, they are lighter than the Cloggers. They’d be better off just importing the Cloggers though, it’s about time someone did.
  8. For the second day running, Admin informed about bulling.
  9. They’re a bit strange looking and only have one pocket, but at the price they might be worth getting if only to make your Cloggers last longer.
  10. Mate has a pair, they are ridiculously light, like trackies. Also look like they will last about as long, but it’s early days.
  11. My not-very-new BG56 is chucking petrol out of the exhaust, and surprisingly it’s not that easy to start. The piston is swimming in fuel. Is it possible to fix by playing around with the carb screws, which have never been touched? Plug is good and air filter reasonably clean. It’s never had a lot of love tbf, and owes me nothing.
  12. I would head to Oz mate.
  13. Yes, I dealt with Will, smashing bloke to deal with.
  14. I bought this bucket today Tim, thank you very much for putting me on to it. 👍

    Bit rough

There’s only one thing worse than picking up dog shit, and that’s not picking up dog shit. My Mam was weeding her front border next to the lawn Dad had just mown in Reading, late ‘60’s. Roadside strip. A woman came along with her dog and a shopping bag. The dog curled a huge beefer out on Dad’s freshly mown roadside strip. Mam challenged her and asked if she was going to sort it out. ’No. It’s not my problem’ said the woman. Mam picked up the whole steaming mess in her trowel and dumped it in the woman’s bag. ’It is now!’ Mam said. The woman just scuttled off with her bag full of shopping/shit. If you can’t handle picking up dog shit then don’t ever get a dog, it’s very simple.

Dog shit bags should be fully biodegradable, all mine are. No excuse for them not to be.
  17. I have no doubt that this years very competitive quote will disappear in a puff of smoke next year with a renewal of £2.5k or something, with another years no claims and the truck worth a bit less, so I will move again. As Gareth said, if they just pumped it up a few quid I’d be happy to stay with them just to avoid the hassle. They have a very strange business model.
  18. Insurance quotes never seem to make much sense. I sure they get them by reading chicken entrails or something.
  19. No pang of regret that you didn’t have to ring and handball it?
