Honeys, Skyland and Gustharts are all excellent, and can usually deliver next day. I’ve also found Sorbus good for sourcing bits that other companies don’t stock.

Fixing through the troughs is the accepted way forward on box profile. As Peter says, decent screws are important. And I’ve been there on the ridges thing!

😂 SRT without a Ropewrench is hard going though! I’ve done it a few times if the ridges are rope friendly.

Looks great! Would it work with a diddy little 25l compressor do you reckon Bob? Would be handy for cleaning the crud off chipper blades before sending off for sharpening, and loads of other stuff.

@Johnsond and @trigger_andy, this sub thing. If they do find it right now, and send down a ROV, which attaches a cable of some description and successfully tows it, how quickly can they bring it up? Can they just go full chat, surface it, undo the bolts and the world cheers? Or do they have to decompress etc.? They have no time. A pal of a mate back home was a rig diver, and I remember him saying the worst part of the job was spending days in a diving bell after a shift.

My mate is in the market for a pro battery hedgecutter, long reach. Most dealers down here are Stihl or Husky, and he’d like dealer back up. What is considered the best out there? I’m still a 2-stroke dinosaur, so haven’t paid any attention to battery developments. He’s prepared to pay pro prices for pro performance.

I would say it will be massively dependent on soil type, water availability, wind, other vegetation and other factors. -

Glad you got a gaff sorted Eggs. Lass I know down here has a cottage just along from hers she Air b&b’s. Good coin apparently, but a lot of work with cleaning etc. She says single night all-female parties are by far the worst.
