  1. Just get in touch with Ben at Canopy who supplied his contact details. He’s a good qualified guy and is not far from you.
  2. @Tommy_B
  3. Speaks the man with an arse shaped like a small tractor seat!
  4. @Dan Maynard
  5. Can’t you just buy one of those and put it in a milk crate?
  6. He could have bought one with your wage.
  7. It would certainly be an interesting case. The press would love it!
  8. Haven’t used one, but seen pretty good reviews of these (from homeowners rather than pros, admittedly), and well within budget. They normally make pretty good kit. I fully support the ethos of what you’re doing as well. Fair play to you.
  9. Average age of an HGV driver in the UK is now 55. It’s pretty grim when you think about it. Game designers and hedge fund twats cream the big bucks while the people who keep the country running have been put off by crap pay and conditions. Nice one modern world, well played.
  10. I bet that was fun handballing 4” rings into the truck.
  11. I would say that last bit is utter bollocks in my experience Bob.
  12. I would cut the hedges leading up to November 5th. Invite the neighbours round for drinks, buy a few fireworks, and apply match….
  13. Agreed. Chip boxes on double cabs aren’t worth it.
  14. I would have coped Joe.
  15. MEWPs are certainly preferable for certain trees. Anyone who thinks they are preferable, or safer, for every tree simply doesn’t understand the tree game.
  16. More back-weight for counterbalance.
  17. Aye, go for it. If nothing else it will be a great learning platform for moving on to a bigger machine. And you could stick a heater in the cab!
  18. That will be the minimum I would think mate, yes. I imagine skinny tyres will be useless, but I need to see the machine in action first. Luckily we have a dealer very locally.
  19. Aye, I think big reductions are the first thing that you start dreading as time takes it’s toll.
  20. That’s what attracts me to the Worky Quad, it’s 740mm width. It would pretty much get on any job. Got a hernia op to finance first though. I really have done this arse about face haven’t I….
  21. Looks a really handy little machine mate.
  22. Similar spec to the Cast Worky Quad I think. 350kg and 1.4m lift is a lot of hand balling! Any loader has to be better than no loader! If you hate it you can probably claw most of your cash back as they don’t seem to come up for sale that often.
  23. In the UK?
  24. Started when they were 58.
  25. You could have recreated Agincourt with that lot Mick!
